ALT How can OEMs and suppliers work with vendors upstream to optimise the balance between LCA and carbon footprint calculations to achieve net zero targets? Depending on the jurisdiction and industry regulations worldwide, suppliers might be required to report their carbon footprint or conduct a complete LCA to comply with environmental policies to meet OEM requirements. Internationally, suppliers may have different sustainability objectives or respond to specific customer requirements. At the 2023 Carbon Reduction, LCA, & Circularity Solutions Congress in 2 weeks time (19-20 September), we will delve into working with suppliers on both LCA and carbon footprint calculations to manage Net Zero targets, while evaluating the critical risks of depending on suppliers for sustainable materials, manufacturing practices & critical data.
