A long time ago my band was going to release a tape but our drummer accidentally ordered soft poly boxes so we just said "Fuck it. No tape."

Never heard of Bag People? Neither had I! Thanks Creamo for dredging the dregs for our elucidation and listening pleasure!

For Bandcamp Daily, I wrote about the new Bag People archival collection now out on @dragcityrecords. daily.bandcamp.com/features/…

Primitive Bliss: Bag People Come Out Of The Shadows

RIYL raw, unfettered rock music made by a group of inspired transplants in '80s NYC.

Somebody play "With Me Tonight" at my funeral
Brian Wilson@BrianWilsonLive18 Sep 2024
Today in 1967, The Beach Boys released their 12th studio album, Smiley Smile. Conceived as a simpler and more relaxed version of their unfinished SMiLE album, the music is distinguished for its homespun arrangements and “low-fi” production. What's your favorite track?

Always nice to see a new batch of reviews from @AuxOutBlog // does a nice job of bringing a little focus into the undefined & tough to classify Al Karpenter universe — @abjectsubject @BajoTierra_AM
