also don't think i'm a fan of the whole street graffiti and punk styling of the game. i would've loved to see them use the more whimsical scrapbook like art style that is played around a bit with the psp remake. its all very crafty and textured which i totally adore.

Igual tampoco fijamos tener memoria selectiva. Desde que estoy en el fandom (2018 aprox?) el Persona 1 siempre ha sido el mainline más odiado de la franquicia y la gente lleva pidiendo un remake desde entonces. La reacción que está teniendo la gente es de lo más normal.

Seriously though why is Persona the only series that’s not allowed to have a consistent visual identity? Why is carrying over even a few design elements a bad thing? There’s so many fans of other video game series that would kill for this kind of cohesion in their art direction

Tbh it’s funny seeing people say persona remakes look like persona 5. And it’s just prettier ui’s and updated mechanics so there’s cohesion within each entry of the games. genuinely, people just sound like they’re pissy for a series having consistency.
