The Axie codex is coming.
You can think of this as a battle pass for the entire Axie ecosystem.
Pay an upfront fee in AXS, and earn AXS, and other rewards such as accessories as you make progress.
One thing that we're working on, which will support AXS's value is a system where the payment is taken in AXS while the rewards are given in a special form of AXS that can be:
Staked or sold, with a variable fee going to the treasury when the token is sold. This fee would go up or down depending on the player's Axie Score. Giving the Axie score more utility, and the treasury a new source of AXS!

The program became a cornerstone of our community, helping foster relationships and introduce Web3 gamers to Axie.
However, the job's not done, and we see opportunities to make it even better.
That's why, starting this week, our teams will get to work building out improvements to Lunacian Codes.
These improvements will require reimagining a few systems, and it will be easier to start fresh rather than make incremental adjustments.
We'll have to pause the program as a result, which means your codes will not generate referral fees during this time.
We'll let you know when things are back up and running.

As we refine and enhance our systems, we've identified opportunities to optimize the Lunacian Codes to provide even greater value to our community.
To achieve this, we will be temporarily pausing Lunacian Codes in the next couple of days while we develop an improved version.
This pause will allow us to explore new ways to make the system more engaging, rewarding, and aligned with the evolving Axie experience.

I don’t see how this makes any sense, why would you need to pause the codes NOW if you’re going to launch a new fresh system in (lets say something like) a month? Something feels off

Just a reminder that on 3rd of March the Lunacian codes were stopped for "the next couple of days" so that developers can improve it. There were many questions raised without a single post to answer it . Transparency is key to any project.
