If it was me hacking myself i would be in jail or under investigation.
The hack was due to a home invasion and i’ve sent all details including the suspected perpetrator to the FBI.
I’m also in touch with chainalysis regarding the recovery efforts for frozen funds.

At Sky Mavis, we were seeing games popping up from different departments, from people who long dreamed to build but lacked the skills and tools to turn their ideas into reality.

If you missed the latest @TheRoninRadio podcast with @Jihoz_Axie and @AxieAur, or just don’t have an hour to go through it, there was actually a lot of substance in there.
A few of the key takeaways:
• @Jihoz_Axie openly acknowledged that @Ronin_Network has become too much of a closed ecosystem. Too many projects came in, benefited from the existing community, but failed to bring meaningful new users from outside Web3 gaming.
• The priority now is to “expand the pie”: back products that can onboard completely new users, not just recycle the same crypto-native audience.
• @AxieAur pushed the idea of extending the Ronin experience beyond Ronin itself, with wallet, NFTs, liquidity and infrastructure reaching users across chains like Ethereum, Base or Solana and reducing friction for people already active elsewhere.
• Jihoz agreed the cross-chain UX should improve, but his bigger bet is still on onboarding people who don’t use crypto at all. That’s part of the reasoning behind exploring Steam for Atia’s Legacy.
• Waypoint is being replaced by Privy/Stash. Jihoz was pretty direct: Waypoint simply wasn’t good enough compared to what Privy can offer for mainstream onboarding.
• Governance is still targeting Q3 2026.
• The 90M ronin:native allocation is going through legal and security review before being moved into the Treasury.
• Honor is shaping up to be much more than a loyalty score. Jihoz described something closer to a reputation/social graph that builders could use to identify high-value users: collectors, gamers, OGs, power users, etc.
• PoD is already live, but clearly still being iterated on. The system has been gamed, and the team is now thinking about how to combine data, AI and human judgment to reward the right builders.
• Aur raised a fair point on ronin:native holders: people who stayed through the drawdown haven’t necessarily been rewarded, while sellers around previous buybacks arguably were. Honor could become part of fixing that incentive mismatch.
• Jihoz also said Sky Mavis has “years of runway” and is not in any near-term financial danger.
• Most importantly, he explicitly said Governance, Honor and PoD are not a “magical panacea.” None of them fix Ronin without real products finding product-market fit.
His benchmark for saying “Ronin is back” 12 months from now: at least two products growing, bringing in net-new users and pushing real economic activity onchain.
Probably one of the more candid Ronin conversations in a while.

Hey @Ronin_Network fam,
We've been beaten down pretty hard over the last couple of years, but it finally feels like there’s some light shining on the horizon.
If and when we get back into a proper bull market, can we agree as a community to do a few things differently?
- Don't ape into a project without doing proper research.
- If you do ape into something, take responsibility for your own decision. Projects can fail for all sorts of reasons, and it’s fair to question the ecosystem when there are legitimate issues, but ultimately, our investment decisions are still our own responsibility. Do your due diligence before putting your money in.
- Don't confuse a bull market with guaranteed profits. Things can still go to zero.
- Don't buy something just because a big account, influencer, guild, or friend is shilling it. Do your own research.
- Don't let FOMO make your decisions for you. If you missed it, you missed it. There will always be another opportunity.
- Support the builders who never stopped shipping. There are teams, creators, communities, and projects that kept building through some of the most painful years this ecosystem has experienced. They stayed when the hype was gone, the liquidity dried up, and nobody was paying attention. When the bull market comes back, let's remember who was actually here building during the bear.
- Give the projects that have consistently delivered the attention and support they deserve, instead of immediately jumping to whatever has the biggest hype.
- Criticize bad actors and bad projects when necessary, but don't blame the entire network for the actions of individual teams.
- Most importantly, let's build a culture where doing your own research, supporting builders, and taking responsibility for your own decisions is the norm.
We've seen what happens when the market goes into full casino mode.
If the next bull market comes, let's be smarter with our bags, more responsible with our decisions, and more supportive of the people who actually kept this ecosystem alive when it wasn't fun to be here.
Remember who stayed. Remember who shipped. Remember who kept building.
We've taken enough punches.
Let's make sure we don't knock ourselves out when the good times finally come back. 🫡

The holy grail for crypto is if a major fiat currency goes to zero.
It won't be the US dollar.
So the two options are the Yen or the Euro.
Both look dicey and not something that can be safely held over the next 10 years. Even 5 years seems really dangerous.
That's the true golden swan for crypto but would of course be difficult for many people in the world so even though it would benefit us that hold crypo assets, I would not pray for it to happen ✋

Season 3 of POD is in the books!
Towards the end of the season we saw some attempts to game the system, with projects popping up with no purpose other than to attempt to farm rewards.
These projects were flagged and had their scores nerfed, boosting the rewards of the legitimate projects.
POD is ofc a work in progress and the system will continue to be optimized as more data gets ingested over time.
A big winner from Season 3 was @RonkeOnRon which climbed significantly compared to seasons 1,2!
