"Sunday, how long can our form continue?"
"But continue our form and playstyle on and it's our game to lose"
We lost the game, ref had some shockers, but we had some even worse. Everyone was wank.

Sunday, how long can our form continue?
We are away this week against Hoole, usually a well drilled, organised team, who are hard to break down!
But continue our form and playstyle on and it's our game to lose

Well... 5/5
Draw probably right, but we had chances should & need to be scoring, fortunately won on pens
Ash MOM, big saves towards the end and saved the best of all the pens
Saughall in the next round

Be one of our toughest tests yet vs Border BA in the cup.
But, good depth again this week and looking to carry on our form of 4/4 wins.
Play with the same energy and cohesion as we have been and it should be a good season

Solid result, not so solid performance
No ref, never helps anyone
Looked strong at 2-0, game got scrappy, 3-2 at half time after Groves rattled the crossbar. But squad depth pulled us through to a 4-2 win
4/4 wins o.o

This weekend we take on Groves, the one before Border BA.
No game in this league can be taken lightly, but carry our form on and we can match any team.
Full squad currently.... all could change by 11am.

Can we keep September's momentum going into October!?
League game against Groves, followed by a tough 1st round cup draw against Border, rounding it off with a league game against Hoole

A week late, but 3/3 wins...
Couple new signings after the demise of Farndon FC, gave us another boost in depth & quality
MOM Paul, blackeye in a head-to-head then smashing it top bins from 25 yards out 30 seconds later

Looking to carry on our strong form with an away day to Waverton
Met during pre-season where we started slow, then fought back into the game
Can we make it 3/3 to have our best campaign start ever ?
#Axis #Craxis #PullOutMerchants #Chester #sundayleague
One of the best Axis performances I've seen. 10 men & a CB in goal against Section B title holders.
Organised, driven, communicated & worked for every minute of the game.
2 games with 10 men won... are we better with 10?

Last weeks oppo couldn't field a team, so a week off for us!
Back to it with an early game vs our adversaries.
A bit low in numbers ourselves, but high in delusional spirit

Great 26/27 campaign start
Solid all round performance, bit shaky at 2-1, but took a strong hold, after scoring a pen to make it 3-1
Keep this squad depth & who knows how far we could go... having subs is a game changer

And here we go..
Our first game of the season is vs Straw Hat (A)
Record of 1-1-3 in the last two seasons, so big turnout needed!
Good business in the transfer market and potentially our first full squad in years Craxis?

First fixtures for 26/27. All tough but well matched games.
New signings, new legends & hopefully bigger squad
If the season starts, league struggling to register itself, something they would fine & dock us points for ...

Axis Archives Part 3: The Axis Split (2017–2020)
2017-18
Holdi Matt begins his Axis playing career, and Jake Jones returns after a season playing elsewhere; he tries to return as an outfield player.
Campaign to forget, battered in the league most weeks.....
2019-20
Internal battle, club splits in 2. Dark time legends & star players leave to form Innovent. T.Riley returns
Pre-season vs Yanks abandoned; the oppo coach won't let his players return. Despite both wanting to, felt players' safety was at risk due to being pushed over
Axis Archives Part 2: Our Wholesome Era (2015–2017)
All still liked each other—nights out, race days, tournaments abroad. How did it all go so wrong?

2016–17
Now fully in blue, with a few new players recruited through the club’s Chester Nomads connections.
The usual antics from Jake Jones see him turn up to a game in Halloween makeup, letting in three horror goals.
A Christmas night out at La Fats.
