NEC in the news🗞️: Lt. Gen. Mugira’s strategies have paid off handsomely. Last month, while appearing before Parliament’s Defence and Internal Affairs Committee, the Minister of Defence, Hon. @KiryowaKk, together with NEC executives, revealed that NEC has generated more than UGX 276 billion in dividends from its joint ventures over the last 15 years, despite limited government funding with the proceeds reinvested into strategic national projects. Last evening we received news of the arrest of our brother Lt Gen Peter Elwelu over security related allegations by UPDF. The news of a possible insurgency brewing in Teso have taken many people in the region by shock. Since last evening, I have been receiving several phone calls from several opinion and Party leaders in Teso and Eastern Uganda about this matter of grave concern. Aware of our turbulent history, We Together with other senior leaders, have embarked on a consultation with responsible institutions to ascertain the details and magnitude of the said matter. We have also informed H.E the President about the concerns of the majority of people in Teso. For now, on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Eastern Uganda, we call upon the population in Teso and Uganda at large to remain calm as we continue engaging the responsible authorities on this matter of public interest. Finally, as leaders and the people of Teso, we look forward to a speedy and transparent inquiry into these matters while urging the members of the public to desist from making unnecessary inflammatory statements to alarm the community in the region . For God and my Country

"..the only tribe who can milk a lion".🙌😁 We respect Hon. @BalaamBarugahar ; however, we won't tolerate a masterclass in English language comprehension deficits to undermine the good intentions of our Teso Leaders. @EchoduOfficial
LET ME ASK MY FAVORITE MENTOR HON @BalaamBarugahar something sensitive although I know he might not Manage to Respond or reply me back. When Gen Kaziini, Gen Tumukunde, Gen Kayihura, Gen Birungi, Gen Nabaasa, Gen Namanya, Gen Ssejjusa and those many other Generals from the West Uganda were Arrested charged released and forgiven at the End of the Arresting games Did they first stripped off their Ranks and Humiliation played against them before public like we have done with Gen Elwelu now? Don’t you think we have been playing Double standards against some tribes or region? Why are many people scared of talking about Tribalism and sectarianism played arround and yet it’s not news, it’s something within the constitution and Uganda is identified by tribal religion and languages so why are you Against Mentioning tribes etc ? How come uncle @FrankGashumba has been fighting for his Abavandimwe tribe and he got what they wanted i didn’t see some of you people from western Uganda complaining but now when Easterners try to demand for fairness in following Gen Elwelu’s case you look at us as enemies Yet we are not Enemies because we support Gen @mkainerugaba fully for Next President after President @KagutaMuseveni but we shall not keep quiet to allow everyone Tom dick etc to scare us from talking truth. I am a loyal cadre of @NRMOnline and A Musevenist Who is always Practicing Musevenism Because I am the diehard of MUHOOZI PLU force Number PO. 81 Under Names OPONDO DEM GASTER A Luo and Japadhola Man from Bukedi Subregion Tororo District we are the only Tribe who can Milk a Lion 🦁 believe me or Don’t.

Are you implicating the Commander-in-Chief?.
As a human being, if you don’t learn from this, then you will never learn. Nov 2016, Gen. Elweru commanded the troops that attacked the Buhikira Palace in Kasese. Many people lost their lives, including soldiers. (I am an eyewitness, not hearsay.) Nov 2026, Gen Elweru arrested.

U just wanted to write! What u're saying is what he was saying, but your starting lines are for Kwenuza & setting him up as though he's making it tribal. He is a representative of Teso. Did you want him to quote Bunyoro? Let those incharge handle.
My dear friend @EchoduOfficial and Hon @NRMOnline Central Committee member, I wish to respectfully appeal that we approach this matter with the highest level of objectivity, wisdom and statesmanship, and avoid viewing it through political, tribal or regional lenses. Matters touching on national security are particularly sensitive and deserve sober reflection, restraint and careful consideration. I believe it would be in the best interests of our country to allow an impartial and independent investigation to establish the facts before conclusions are drawn or positions taken. We should also recognise the experience and institutional responsibility of our Commander-in-Chief @KagutaMuseveni and Chief of Defence Forces General @mkainerugaba , who have considerable experience in assessing intelligence and weighing its implications before decisions are made. Equally important, their compassion, understanding and commitment to the wellbeing of our nation should not be overlooked. As leaders entrusted with the responsibility of safeguarding our country’s unity and stability, let us demonstrate maturity, mutual respect and confidence in the appropriate processes. Above all, let national interest prevail over personal, political, tribal or regional considerations. I make this appeal in the spirit of friendship, patriotism and our shared commitment to the peace, unity and stability of our beloved country.

I believe in miracles. I have seen miracles in church. A church without the power of God is just a meeting. Yes, miracles happen in churches. But the purpose of a miracle is not to curse those who do not believe. The purpose of a miracle is to bring those who do not believe closer to Jesus. Jesus fed 5,000 people who were not believers, He did not curse them for being hungry. He healed the servant of a Roman centurion, a nonbeliever and an occupier, without asking him to change tribe first. He delivered the mad man of Gadara and told him, "Go and tell your people." When we stand in the pulpit and curse nonbelievers, when we say "those people will die, those people are cursed," we are closing the same door Jesus died to open. The Bible says: "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." — John 3:17 If Jesus did not come to condemn nonbelievers, who gave us the right to condemn them? The church will not grow by cursing the world. The church will grow by loving the world enough to save it. Let us go back to winning souls, not chasing titles. Let us go back to building people, not just buildings. Because in the end, God will not ask us how big our church building was. He will ask us, how many sinners did you bring to repentance? @RobertKayanja @Jessicakayanja @FrankGashumba @SheilahGashumba

They actually standing and blocking the gate salvation and yet they themselves aren't willing to enter salvation. To them salvation is business and self glorification

The Devaluation of the Individual: Under this ideology, an individual's conscience, motives, and internal morals mean absolutely nothing. You are either helping the current trajectory of the ship/river, or you are a "corpse" to be washed onto the bank for swerving off-course.

There are convictions formed through experience, pain& suffering. We expect more citizens to be patriots, but certain methods produce reverse consequences. Olivia Lutaaya was incarcerated for years needlessly. @AgoraCFR @JudiciaryUG @GovUganda
