People need to do more gritty stuff to make money early in their careers.
I bought a $1500 cargo van on craigslist to start my first company.
I once bought bed sheets and a mattress on craigslist to furnish a new apartment.
I paid $200 on FB marketplace for the bedroom set I still use.
I talked my landlord into letting me Airbnb my apartment while I was away on my honeymoon and paid one of my employees to clean it.
I built websites over the weekend for $ while working on my company.
I sold supplements to my college track teammates.
My father in law was always flipping a house and working weekends to make it happen.
People nowadays are soft. Home from work, on the couch, family time on weekends. All new furniture and credit card debt.
And they wonder why they aren’t ahead.
