This is the final week.
Everyone who knows what game shooting brings to the countryside needs to get their evidence in to Defra before 11.59pm on Sunday.
And please, for the future of our way of life, share this post and spread the word.

Time is running out... Don’t let our opponents decide our future.
Defra’s review of game shooting is your chance to make your experience count.
Visit our campaign page for practical advice on how to respond before Sunday!

We attended Activate College in Oxford to discuss with student chefs game meat as food. Best practice, legislation and types of game were discussed before a demonstration showing how to prepare a partridge.
Then the chefs were given their own bird to prepare and cook 😋
Earlier this year, several of our members were treated to a tour of the Bisterne Estate.
You can now read more about how a shoot, a working farm and a wader recovery project are all carried out harmoniously on the same land: basc.org.uk/bisterne-estate-…

Some of you may think the decision has already been made, but the Defra review is not a done deal. Defra is obliged to consider every email it receives. Yours will be read and counted. That is not wishful thinking; it is how the process works.

Whether you shoot, beat, pick up, run a pub, own a gun shop or train gundogs, we need you to send your experiences of game shooting in England to Defra before 1 November.

What a great day we had last week at the Introduction to Deer Tracking workshop, hosting all kinds of dog breeds, that performed very well.
Huge thanks to @tonylowry123 and the Wessex branch of @BritishDeerSoc for their support in building and delivering this event.
