Mr. Laudenslager BASD

One book down, another begins! 📖 Just finished The Anxious Generation and now I’m starting The Student Leadership Challenge. Looking forward to another thought-provoking read! What’s on your summer reading list?

It’s Musical Theater Camp Week at Camp Hope! We are performing Godspell Jr! Campers learn the entire show, singing, choreography, costumes, and more in just 1 week! 6 of our campers are @BethlehemAreaSD students and counselors include BASD’s @MrsHriniak and @MsSurdovelMusic!

The first Monday of Summer and @BittnerLHS and I are already in Day 4 of Video Production Camp through the 21st Century Program (@CISEasternPA)! We have already explored editing, camera shots, storytelling and storyboarding! We have so much more planned for this week! 🎥🎬📸

Amazing Production! 🚀🚀

Last week, @MsVelasquez_ESL and I facilitated a “Deep Dive” into @BASDBroughalMS's MRA data during our inservice. 🌊🧭 Staff engaged in meaningful reflection as we celebrated strengths, named growth areas, and charted next steps for our school community. @TheLeaderinMe

🚀🚀🚀

Our Student Lighthouse has been hard at work these past few weeks getting ready for our Bingo! We hope you can join us for a fun evening at Broughal! 🚀

While learning how AI uses data and exploring data points about ourselves, a student question took us off track in the best way possible. We broke down ZIP codes, phone area codes, and even how Social Security numbers have data built into them. Student curiosity for the win!🔍

Always growing and learning something new! 🚀 At Broughal, I manage our ScreenCloud digital signage. Recently, I completed several ScreenCloud University courses to explore features and generate ideas. I’m excited to try out some of them at upcoming events!

Twin Day surprise I did NOT see coming! My coworker came to school dressed as me and the attention to detail, including the way I talk and my mannerisms, was impressive! Just another day with an amazing team!

Broughal Media on location at the Middle School Basketball Night last Tuesday! If you missed the Broughal teams play against East Hills, the game recordings will be posted to our YouTube channel in the near future! 🎥🚀

Content creation means using your car as a camera stand while looking like you’re breaking into your own school! 🚗🎥

Spent my Saturday at the PA Farm Show. Many reminders of how tech and hands-on skills mix in real life! Of course I had to see the butter sculpture too! @FarmShowComplex

Took advantage of this Holiday Break to work through my to-read list. What should I add next? #BASDlovesreading

Couldn’t let these go up at home without a visit to school first!🎄Merry Christmas!
