Starting in February, we will begin forgiving the remaining federal student loan balance for borrowers who
✅ are on the Saving on a Valuable Education (SAVE) Plan;
✅ originally borrowed $12,000 or less to attend school; and
✅ have at least 10 years of payment history.
It does not matter if your outstanding balance is higher than what you originally borrowed.
