Stan Van Gundy on the problem with youth basketball.
"You have to make decision. Do you want to teach the kids you're coaching how to play basketball, or do you just want to win games? Because there's a big difference."

A lot of HS players don’t actually love basketball, they love the attention they receive being good at basketball while in HS. When they run into better players, don’t get the same praise, have to raise their level of work..they “lose their love of the game.”

Tough Questions Leaders Must Ask:
1. Do I realize it is impossible to glorify God and myself at the same time?
2. Am I doing the things I am asking others to do?
3. Am I touching the hearts of those I lead?
4. Do others experience God’s love through me?

Point guards make the game easy for teammates. Get the ball where a shooter needs it, and be the communicator on the floor. The PG's sole purpose is to make sure his teammates are in position to have success.

If you could save a life with a RT, would you? My 8-year-old niece has 2 weeks to live due to a brain tumor. Her only chance is surgery at Boston Children's Hospital, she is there now. Her fam needs funds to fight. Can you RT to help them? gf.me/u/jp3zr5
