Van 1 is done! Refueling with more food and waiting for Van 2 to make it to Duluth so that we can cross the finish line?
Van 1 is back at it. Some of us slept, some of us did NOT. Brian finishing up his final run of the relay. #ragnar #ragnarrelaymn
Tag off to Van 2 Brenna comes flying in, in the dark. #ragnar
Took some pictures and texted some updates while I was running but still kept a decent pace for multi-tasking. I have a 9 miler left but first must fuel up with Tobies caramel rolls first.
Isaac finished his 11, last mile clocked at 6:49. Shawn is finishing up a 9 mile. Then just Lisa and Brenna before some Tobies caramel rolls
Back on the path storms have past. Weather is beautiful and Isaac is on his 11 mile. #ragnarr #ragnarrelaymn
Just a little rain, hail and lightning and a 20 degrees drop. Right at Brian and Dana a lightning delayed put us all on hold. Isaac will start his 11 miler at 5:15
Sirens are going off but we are still rolling?!?, waiting for Brian to finish his 10 for Dana to run right into this storm.
Short runs on our a.m. run. Already on runner 4 #ragnar #ragnarrelaymn
Kaleb Sharp places 2nd in the 1500m at USATF JO Nationals. He ran the strategy well, endured a shoving match & gutter trip while picking off his competitors 1 by 1 to set an all-time PR in the 1500m 3:59 equivalent to the 4:15 1600m
Final day of competition for JO nationals at U of O's Hayward field. Yasmin ran a great race in the 1500 finals which is all about strategy when it comes to the finals. She posted her second fastest 1500m time to come in 10th overall leaving Eugene with a 4:58 1500m PR!
Kaleb Sharp takes bronze in the 800m at USATF JO nationals! He moved up from 7th seed to take the 3rd place spot showing he not only can produce a fast 1:53 in a heat where he controls the race like at MSHSL state & NON but he can also race the 1:53 800 with strategy & patience
Kaleb makes finals in the 1500m at JO nationals posting a faster time than he did at Nike Outdoor Nationals this past June. It's been a great day so far at Hayward Field in Eugene Oregon.
