After completing our unit with @SpheroEdu students are having fun enjoying some games that they can control via the Sphero Bolt.

The creativity is flowing this week as students design their own animations on the Sphero Bolts!

Students are having a great time working together to construct courses out of @KEVAplanks and driving their @SpheroEdu robots. Creativity, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Communication all happening with fun and play!

We finished up our unit of study on manufacturing with a vocab quiz and then a fun creativity and collaboration challenge. How many creations can you build from a random handful of car parts?

This week we started our Lego assembly lines. Students had to not only work independently, following building plans but also alongside others to complete as many cars as possible. It’s been great to watch and listen as they encourage each other and help one another out.

The first full week is complete! 1-4 students participated in challenges to strengthen their collaboration and communication skills while K learned about smart device advice with some fun characters and a silly book.

Welcome to Mr. A.s toy shop! After practicing @tinkercad basics and the process of design. Students built toys to 3d print. All 4 C’s happening (Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Creativity) while having fun!

We are finishing up our manufacturing unit this week with a quiz and then an imagination challenge. The challenge of using our car parts to make something new!

We are discovering how helpful it is to work with a team. This week students have to assemble the whole car by themselves AND recycle all by themselves AND transport all by themselves. Teamwork DOES make the dream work!

Last week was a wild one. We ran our assembly lines with a twist, SWITCHEROO! Every minute the students had to switch jobs. The hidden lesson…when there’s changes happening around you, stay calm, take deep breaths, and stay kind.
