I enjoyed meeting with Dr. Bruce McAllister, president of Bob Jones University, and Doug Abels, head of school for Bob Jones Academy this week. I’m grateful for their leadership and the schools’ focus on religious education.    We discussed the remarkable federal school choice tax credit in @TaxCuts and the importance of being able to choose to receive an education that is grounded in religion.   The Education Freedom Tax Credit allows taxpayers to receive a credit of up to $1,700 each year for contributions to fund K-12 student scholarships, helping families access faith-based schools like Bob Jones Academy. This landmark provision is a major win for South Carolina families and school choice.
