Year 4 have stepped back in time today, arriving as ancient Egyptians—including many mighty pharaohs—to kick off our new topic: Temples, Tombs and Treasures! 🏺👑🛕 @BoothferryPS @MissLinklater @MissHolt19
A great day learning new skills and cooking, using locally sourced British produce as part of our topic lessons looking at farming in Britain. Very tasty 🇬🇧🍲🍽️ I was pleased to see most children tried everything @MissHolt19 @MissLinklater @BoothferryPS
An exciting day for our new topic Temples, Tombs and Treasures. Our little pharaohs will be baking and tasting Ancient Egyptian flatbread, making a death mask out of mod roc, writing their names on papyrus using hieroglyphics and mummifying a tomato @MissLinklater @BoothferryPS

The process of creating a blackout poem. We carefully selected words that made sense and were meaningful. We then made these stand out by drawing poppies and creating a blackout effect across the rest of the text. A lovely start to Armistice Week.
