When and why did Everton fans start hating NUFC & their fans?
It's quite a weird one. So much vitriol on socials, from some, but not sure why it's a thing - & I've supported Newcastle all my life.
Dislike of Geordies? Might be. But don't think it's a Liverpool/Newcastle thing. Is it because they can't compete with their own proper rivals in the modern era? Misplaced envy/bitterness due to club(s) prominence/standing now vs historical?
I'd love someone to explain it.

🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Everton striker Thierno Barry's home was BURGLED while he was playing in his team's Carabao Cup victory against Newcastle!
The 24-year-old was on the pitch scoring in Everton's 3-1 win when thieves broke into the home he shares with his girlfriend Charlene and their ONE-YEAR-OLD daughter.
His partner described the incident as an “extremely distressing and violating experience” and has offered a FINANCIAL REWARD for information that helps identify those responsible.
Just ONE MONTH earlier, Charlene had shared a TikTok video showing their collection of expensive designer handbags inside their walk-in wardrobe.
