But many of the less popular tax calculators do everything locally. Please take a bow: J.P. Morgan Personal Investing, StepChange, ITContracting, uk-tax-calc and uktaxcalculator. (Small conspiracy theory: those that put the most effort into SEO also target advertising)

Funny thing is that the seven most popular tax calculators on the internet all send your data over the internet: HMRC, MoneySavingExpert, The Salary Calculator, Taxfix, Listen to Taxman, Xero and ANNA.

That could just be sloppy coding - your income becomes encoded in a long url, and the advertising networks are sent the full url. But it means a bunch of advertising networks see your IP address, your income, and all the other personal information you entered.

On the other hand, check out listentotaxman - ranked by Google as the 5th most popular tax calculator. They send your income data to 31 different domains, mostly advertising networks. (also, its UI is a crime against nature)

After the Budget, millions will use online tax calculators. But there's a privacy catch: we tested the seven most popular, and every one sends your income to a server. Here's what MoneySavingExpert sends:

Greens for Palestine Lubna Speitan just said she wants the ENTIRE Terrorism Act repealed. Over 100 late-stage terror attacks have been prevented since the Act came into force. The Green Party is now a national security threat.

russians saw the word “EVACUATION” on the vehicle. They attacked it anyway. Kramatorsk. A russian drone struck an evacuation vehicle, tearing off one of the driver’s legs. He is now in hospital. Even those trying to save lives are not spared. How many more atrocities will it take before the world finally acts? Sadly, I know the answer. Nothing will change. russia will keep committing crimes against humanity, and the world will keep looking away. Maybe until it happens to you.

For years, activists have claimed it is racist to break down sex crime statistics by nationality. This is nonsense. It should surprise no one that men from cultures in which women are treated as subordinate are convicted of sexual offences at disproportionately high rates.

This chart is insane. This shows Russia's casualties over time compared to Russia's territorial gains in Ukraine over the last five years. No sane or rational person would say continuing the war to try and take more of Ukraine's territory is worth the casualties.

In case you were wondering, Australia is still a basket case. Their illness may actually be more advanced than ours?
Latest Australian immigration nightmare: ''A Congolese serial rapist, who committed his most heinous offences against his then 13-year-old daughter after arriving in Australia as a refugee, has been permitted to remain in the country because of concerns for his wellbeing if deported to Nauru. Known only as JKWL, he is among 124 rapists, pedophiles, drug lords and criminals who have been allowed to remain in Australia under the Albanese government’s Direction 110 since the beginning of 2026, The Australian can reveal.''

BREAKING: A Congolese serial rapist who raped his own 13 year old daughter has been allowed to stay in Australia because deportation might “hurt his mental health” This is what “community safety first” looks like under Tony Burke. Known only as JKWL, the refugee raised two daughters in Brisbane, then committed escalating sexual offences against his eldest once she hit puberty, including raping her in the living room while she did her maths homework. Court of Appeal records confirm it. He got eight years for three counts of rape and one of indecent treatment. JKWL is not an outlier. The Australian reports he is among 124 rapists, pedophiles, drug lords and other serious criminals allowed to remain under Labor’s Direction 110 since the start of 2026. Other examples under Burke’s direction: • A New Zealander (YJJN) who masturbated in front of his six and ten year old cousins and possessed material involving 1,300 children kept his visa. Home Affairs prioritised his “psychological interests.” • Rapist Francois Malho, 130 offences, including attempted rape at knifepoint, stays because deportation might “traumatise his elderly mother” and he doesn’t speak Portuguese. • Liberian meth importer Sehwhy Nipoe, 15 years for nearly $900k of meth, stays because of “bonds with his children.” • A South Sudanese baseball bat assaulter who left a victim with catastrophic brain damage. A Mob ambush stabbing killer. Multibillion dollar heroin dealer and ice kingpin. All allowed to stay. More than $250 million Australian taxpayer dollars have already been spent on the NZYQ cohort on top of the $2.5 billion Nauru deal, $70 million a year ongoing. Tony Burke has completely failed his most sacred duty: keeping Australians safe. He has put the feelings, the comfort, and the psychiatric interests of monsters ahead of innocent Australian citizens. How much longer must Australians bear the terrifying consequences of Labor's broken borders? Burke needs to answer for this betrayal IMMEDIATELY.
