CALL FOR IMMEDIATE ARREST AND INVESTIGATION A video circulating on social media allegedly shows a female pastor instructing members of her congregation to rise, arm themselves with swords and guns, and kill Muslims in Plateau State. This is an extremely disturbing allegation that should not be ignored. We call on the Nigerian authorities and relevant security agencies to urgently identify, arrest and thoroughly investigate the individual involved. Anyone found to be inciting religious violence or calling for the killing of innocent citizens must be held accountable in accordance with the law. At a time when Plateau State and other parts of Nigeria are struggling with insecurity, we cannot afford to allow religious hatred, extremism and inflammatory rhetoric to further threaten peaceful coexistence. No Nigerian should be targeted or threatened with death because of their religion. Every life matters, and the law must apply equally to everyone.
