Right as he thought he'd be free enough from the pressure to speak, the shaking becomes a new obstacle. On one side he was incredibly honored by the offer, but on the other he hated the idea of the opportunity being robbed from someone more qualified thanks to his recruitment.

The young scout tries to speak but the pressure of their arms stops him from being able to make any noise besides the guttural sound of a person being strangled.

Sometimes I ask myself the same thing.

"Maybe, but it takes a lot of courage to do that."

"Why not? You're a very dedicated leading mind in titan research."

Linda called THE Hange Zoe stinky?

Linda, be nice to Hitch please.

He leans his head back. "Alright." He says with audible reluctance. "I'll go look for my books."

"Heh." He awkwardly puts his hand on his nape. "It's not that I necessarily enjoy the work, to be honest, a lot of the time it can feel quite taxing, but I know it has to be done."

"I guess? I dunno, I think it's more to do with me just getting so distracted with smaller tasks that I end up neglecting rest. Usually when I'm able to actually get myself onto a bed I sleep just fine."

Rubbing his eyes. "Hange? Sorry, I..." He stops, mid-sentence, instead just pressing his hands to his cheeks to try to wake himself up.
