Trevor Lawrence reveals the split-second decision-making behind his touchdown pass to Travis Hunter vs the Houston Texans
"I was really trying to throw the seam to Brenton [Strange]] on the left, and then he just got held at the line of scrimmage."
"The guy's holding him so he didn't get off, and then I was about to scramble when I saw Travis come open underneath."
"We had the choice router with him, and you know, we wanted to work it versus certain coverages." 🔥
"Pre-snap I had single high, so I had two seams that I was working with the safety lean in one way, so I was trying to work to Brenton."
"And he got covered up, so then I just came down late to Travis and progressed it from there."

George is him
Very odd incident between #Jaguars DE Josh Hines-Allen and an NFL staffer today.
Allen wanted the ball back because it was Travis Hunter’s first career INT, but the staffer wasn’t having it.

“Not out on James Gladstone” lol we just went 13-4…should be ALL IN ON GLADSTONES
I’m not out on James Gladstone by any means, and I think he’s done some great things(ex. Travis Hunter trade), but there are some decisions I just don’t understand.
I wasn’t a fan of how many average starters we paid in free agency last year. I get that you gotta fill the roster and we had great results, but contracts like Patrick Mekari’s are disgusting.
As I’ve already said tonight, extending Cole Van Lanen to $17M a year for multiple seasons after four starts at LT while refusing to consider a smaller deal to Devin Lloyd who arguably flipped two games against SF and KC into wins, what even is that?
Like I said, there’s good and bad, could also throw in Jakobi Meyers being a great addition, but we also signed an extension at an age where WRs fall off. Hope it all works out, but I think there’s gonna be some regrets that were avoidable.
