What leopards in agricultural landscapes of western Maharashtra thrive on and bring them SO close to humans = अन्न आणि निवारा i.e. safe shelter in dense sugarcane fields, banana plantations etc. and free-ranging dogs as a common source of food. This leopard knew exactly what he was after. While the man's muted reaction cracked me up for a minute, I cannot imagine the shock he must've felt once he realised what a close encounter he just had!
