Adding to the curiosity are 3 other statewide races; 2 that support the Governor remaining Abbott (Lt Gov and AG), and one that looks like pure targeting of Bo French's Longhorn game tweet. It's interesting.

I try to largely avoid posting political opinions here, like my HS football used to tell us, "everybody has one and they all stink." So just a curious observation. If the betting markets are correct, Texas state government isn't turning blue, just the senate race. Why? Largest difference is $11 MM wagered on Senate race vs $2 MM on Governor race. Anybody in the world can wager, thus you have a substantial amount of wagered capital from outside Texas that cannot vote on the outcome of the senate race. If the typical party voter votes down the line, one of these outcomes is likely wrong. Only caveat I see is possibility of some Rep voters voting against Paxton, and/or the 30-second attention span of youth voters just vote the senate race if this market is true. The question is are one of these markets wrong?

And it is wondered why the youth are cheering socialism. Corporate HR has built a terribly dysfunctional mousetrap. Last week a guy wrote about lack of candidates for a role he was filling, couldn't understand why so he applied to the position himself, and was rejected by their own system.
