SIGN THE PETITION: No City of Toronto Contracts with Companies Profiting from Illegal Israeli Settlements Mayor Olivia Chow campaigned on an anti-genocide stance. That is NOT enough. We need real action. She collected over half a million votes from people putting their trust in her that she will turn her words into actions. We demand that Olivia Chow, now re-elected as Mayor of Toronto, and the new City Council immediately review all City contracts and stop all contracts with companies that are violating international law and have contributed to genocide and illegal settlements. Toronto's public money should never support violations of international law. Canada has already committed to ban trade in settlement goods, and our city must hold its own contracts to the same standard. How to sign & help in 60 seconds: Open the petition link below (or scan the QR code on the poster). Scroll to Sign the Petition, enter your name, email or phone number, and Toronto postal code, and check the box if you want your name published as a public endorser on bahira.ca. Today is Election Day in Toronto. In this video, a member of our Indigenous community explains why he's supporting Bahira Abdulsalam for Mayor. This campaign was built by listening on sidewalks and in parks, talking with neighbours from every background about a city that works for everyone. Polls are open until 8 p.m. tonight. Bring your ID, bring a friend, and make your voice heard. Real change starts with your vote. #VoteToday #TorontoVotes #TOpoli #TorontoElection2026 #ElectionDay #BahiraForMayor #BeTheChange #IndigenousVoices #Toronto #EveryVoteCounts #Bahira4Mayor – at Toronto, Ontario

Toronto, do you want a Mayor who tells you one thing and votes another way? In May 2025, Olivia Chow voted for the "bubble zone" bylaw. It lets places of worship, schools and daycares ban demonstrations within 50 metres, with fines of up to $5,000. She voted for it even though: - 63% of residents who responded to the City's consultation opposed it - The City's own lawyers advised that the bylaw likely infringes the Charter of Rights and Freedoms The right to protest peacefully belongs to every Torontonian: Jewish, Muslim, Palestinian, Christian, everyone. A Mayor should protect it, not trade it away. As Mayor, I will move to repeal the bubble-zone bylaw. Safety and free expression can live together, and the Charter is not optional. Vote #2 on Monday, October 26. – at Toronto, Ontario
