Honoured to be appointed Director of Youth Mobilisation, ADC Presidential Campaign Council. I thank H.E Atiku Abubakar, Rotimi Amaechi and our party leadership for the confidence. This is not a title. It is an assignment. The work begins. Balarabe Rufai

Ahead of the forthcoming campaign flag-off and working visit of the National Youth Leadership and Presidential Campaign Council, we have formally approved and formally ratified the ADC Presidential Campaign Council Youth Mobilisation Directorates and State Working Committees in Kebbi, Zamfara and Sokoto States. These appointments are therefore not merely the distribution of political positions. They are part of the work of building organised structures, strengthening grassroots participation and ensuring that young people have a meaningful place in the political process. We must organise beyond social media, reach every ward and community, and build a movement grounded in courage, discipline and democratic participation. I congratulate all the appointed Zonal and State Directors, Chairmen, Secretaries and members of the respective committees. The responsibility before you is enormous. Let nobody mistake our commitment to democratic participation for weakness. Our response to intimidation must be lawful, organised and resolute. We shall continue to defend the right of every Nigerian to participate in politics without fear, threat or persecution. The struggle for democratic participation cannot be outsourced. The responsibility to organise begins now. Comrade Balarabe Rufa'i National Youth Leader, African Democratic Congress (ADC) Director, Youth Mobilisation, Atiku/Amaechi Presidential Campaign Council

The reported attack on our governorship candidate in Sokoto State, Hon. Munir Dan’iya Yesterday's Night, is a disgraceful act of political barbarism and an assault on democracy. We condemn in the strongest terms the alleged deployment of Sokoto Community Guards and Community Marshals to barricade entry routes, hunt down our candidate, smash his vehicles with stones and unleash gunfire against his convoy. Even more outrageous is the reported seizure and disarming of two DSS personnel attached to him. This is not law enforcement; it is the alleged weaponisation of public security institutions against political opponents. Those entrusted with protecting citizens cannot become political attack dogs for those in government. Let the Sokoto State Government understand one fundamental truth: Sokoto is not a private estate, and its citizens are not political prisoners. No governor owns the roads, the airports or the state. No government has the right to determine which political party a citizen may wear, support or associate with. If these allegations are true, those who planned, authorised and executed this operation must be held accountable. We demand an immediate investigation by the Inspector-General of Police and the Director-General of the DSS, the recovery of the detained personnel and their weapons, and the prosecution of everyone found culpable. Public funds must not be used to finance political thuggery. To those who believe that stones, bullets, roadblocks and hired intimidation can drive the ADC out of Sokoto, you have picked the wrong fight. You can smash a vehicle, but you cannot smash the will of the people. You can barricade a road, but you cannot barricade democracy. You can intimidate a candidate, but you cannot outlaw political opposition. Let nobody mistake our commitment to peace for fear, or our restraint for surrender. We will confront political oppression with the full weight of the law, public resistance and democratic mobilisation. The days when political power could be used to frighten citizens into submission must end. I call on ADC members and Nigerian youths, particularly in Sokoto, to remain calm, vigilant and resolute. Do not retaliate or give political merchants of violence an excuse to unleash further chaos. Document every threat, expose every abuse and defend your democratic rights peacefully. To the perpetrators and their political sponsors, our message is simple: The ADC has come to stay! We are not seeking permission from anyone to exist, organise or contest elections. Nigeria belongs to all of us, and Sokoto belongs to its people. No government, no matter how desperate, can intimidate its way into owning the future of an entire people. So, Tinubu will subsidise federal government workers’ transportation with ₦70,000 for six months. And after those six months, what happens? Will they start trekking to work again? 😂 And for the millions of Nigerians who aren’t government workers, are we supposed to fast and pray our way through your remaining three months in office? Is this governance or a six-month survival experiment? TINUBU MUST GO!

Imagine Common @dayoisrael, the APC National Youth Leader, reportedly shared 7 brand-new 2026 Prado SUVs at the alleged cost of ₦165 million per unit, totalling over ₦1.1 billion. Meanwhile, millions of Nigerian youths are struggling with hunger, unemployment and poverty under @officialABAT Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration. Dayo Israel is also the Chairman of the Federal Medical Centre in Abeokuta, which has been alleged to have ZERO MRI machines. An average MRI machine is claimed to cost $250,000 (₦375 million), meaning the 7 SUVs could purchase 3 MRI machines at that estimated price. While sick Nigerians struggle to access healthcare, APC leaders are celebrating luxury vehicles! These SUVs are not a true representation of Nigerian youths! President Tinubu, Nigerians deserve an explanation of who funded these vehicles. For the Records, even the Prime Minister of the UK cannot dare simply share 2026 Toyota Prados without facing serious questions, and the UK is a member of the G7, consisting of seven major advanced economies, yet in Nigeria and Ordinary Dayo could! The APC Under Tinubu stopped paying subsidy and started buying Prado. Macroeconomic una! President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nigerians were told to endure hardship, accept fuel subsidy removal and make sacrifices for the economy. Yet, while ordinary families struggle to survive, your ruling party is celebrating expensive SUVs. And somehow, we are expected to believe that "It's the opposition that created hunger and poverty." What an insult to the intelligence of suffering Nigerians! Even within the APC, some of those angry with Dayo Israel may simply be angry because they didn't get their own share. They feel unrated, na why them dey vex! Why are they acting like what just happened is new with the APC government style? President Tinubu, economic sacrifice must begin with political leaders, not hungry citizens! And to the young Nigerians still defending this political extravagance, look carefully: "Your mates are getting 2026 Prados, but you're celebrating taking pictures with ST and wearing a face cap. Some of you were created to serve." What a painful description of how political patronage can reduce young people to spectators in their own future! Nigerian youths were not created to carry banners, defend failed policies and celebrate the privileges of politicians while their own dreams collapse. We deserve jobs, education, healthcare and genuine opportunities, not political handouts and empty promises. Bola Tinubu and the APC must answer for this culture of extravagance. Nigerians deserve accountability, and 2027 must be an opportunity to reject wasteful leadership! Bola @officialABAT, your campaign spokesman has admitted that ministers paid billions in bribes to secure their appointments. You appointed them, so who received the money? Nigerians deserve names, not silence. Your government’s reckless decisions have driven the cost-of-living crisis. And when you withhold funds from ministries because you distrust your own ministers, Nigerians are left paying for a government that has abandoned them. -AA

You cannot answer unemployment with political propaganda, or explain away insecurity with another carefully written presidential statement. President Tinubu, the Nigerian treasury belongs to the people, including the poor farmer in Zamfara, the struggling trader in Kano, the unemployed graduate in Kaduna and the hungry mother in Lagos. Their suffering deserves answers, not silence. Their taxes deserve accountability, not secrecy. And their future must never be sacrificed to political convenience! MR PRESIDENT, NIGERIANS DESERVE AN EXPLANATION ON THE ₦23.57 TRILLION SERVICE-WIDE VOTE ALLOCATIONS YOU RESERVED FOR YOURSELF President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, somewhere in Nigeria tonight, a mother will put her children to bed hungry, not because she is lazy, but because the little money she earns can no longer buy enough food. Somewhere in the North, a farmer cannot return to his farm for fear of being killed or kidnapped. Somewhere in our hospitals, a pregnant woman is fighting for her life because basic medical supplies are unavailable. Yet, Mr President, your administration has reportedly allocated a staggering ₦23.57 trillion to Service-Wide Votes in just three years! ₦4 trillion in 2024, ₦6.74 trillion in 2025 and ₦12.83 trillion in 2026. For Nigerians who may not understand, Service-Wide Votes are funds budgeted centrally for government obligations such as pensions, security operations, emergencies and special interventions, rather than being assigned entirely to individual ministries. They give the executive considerable discretion over the release of public funds, although that discretion is supposed to remain subject to financial controls and legislative oversight. Mr President, this money is not your inheritance! It is not the private property of Aso Rock, and it must never become a political reward for those who surround you! How much of these trillions has actually been released? Who received the payments? What have Nigerians gained? Why should citizens endure unbearable hardship without being shown a clear account of such enormous public allocations? Mr President, do you realise what ₦23.57 trillion could do for a country whose children study under leaking roofs and whose hospitals sometimes cannot provide ordinary medicines? At an illustrative ₦100 million per school, that amount could finance 235,700 schools. At ₦200 million per primary healthcare centre, it could finance 117,850 facilities. Alternatively, ₦1 million each could reach 23.57 million struggling households. These are separate illustrations of the scale of the allocation, not verified project costs or a claim that the money could fund all three programmes simultaneously. Imagine the relief for a widow struggling to feed her children, a young graduate desperate for work, or a rural family travelling kilometres to reach a functioning hospital. Yet your government continues to preach patience and sacrifice to people who have already sacrificed almost everything. Mr President, how much more suffering must ordinary Nigerians endure before their welfare becomes the first priority of their government? You cannot keep asking hungry citizens to tighten their belts while leaving them uncertain about how trillions of naira are being managed in their name. Renewed Hope cannot remain a slogan on government billboards while despair sits at the dinner tables of ordinary Nigerians! Mr President, enough of the excuses! Nigerians are not begging for charity; they are demanding accountability for their own money! We are not claiming that the entire ₦23.57 trillion has been spent, stolen or diverted. But the scale of these allocations makes detailed public disclosure absolutely necessary. Publish the approved expenditure breakdowns! Disclose the actual releases! Identify the beneficiaries and contractors! Show the completed projects and independently audited accounts! Let Nigerians see what has been achieved with every naira spent. A government that demands sacrifice from its citizens must first demonstrate responsibility with their resources. You cannot govern a hungry nation with promises alone.

Today, I received members of the North-East APC Support Group for an important political engagement. Interestingly, the delegation included serving Special Advisers to incumbent governors and serving councillors from across the North-East. We had frank and meaningful discussions on the political situation in our country, the concerns of our people and matters of mutual interest. For now, we will allow our discussions to remain where they belong. More details will follow in due course. Hon. Just recently Tinubu made it clear that he has absolutely no intention of restoring fuel subsidies. As if that were not enough, his Minister of Finance reportedly warned Nigerians to prepare for even heavier taxation if the administration secures a second term, with taxes that could make the removal of fuel subsidies look like child's play. Atiku Abubakar has repeatedly warned Tinubu about the devastating consequences of these policies for ordinary Nigerians. Yet, our so-called contractor politician remains completely unmoved. Not a single word of concern for the suffering masses! Instead, he and his blind loyalists would rather insult and attack us, treating fellow opposition members as greater enemies than Tinubu himself. May Almighty Allah open the eyes of those willing to see, grant wisdom to those willing to understand, and grant Atiku Abubakar victory. Ameen.

I was really sad when I received representatives of the National Association of Freelance Realtors in my office today. Listening to their painful complaints about the FCT Minister, @GovWike Nyesom Wike, I could hear the frustration of hardworking Nigerians who believe their livelihoods are being squeezed by Abuja's land administration. They accused the minister of turning land allocation into a business that leaves independent realtors struggling to survive. One of them jokingly asked whether Wike had become the Chief Estate Agent of Abuja, because at this rate, even gutters, roads and recreational parks might soon carry price tags! We laughed, but the pain behind that joke was real. Imagine people who have spent years building legitimate businesses now wondering how to feed their families. These allegations are serious and deserve an independent investigation. Abuja cannot become a place where ordinary citizens feel like strangers while those entrusted with public office exercise enormous power over their livelihoods. Let me remind Nyesom Wike that the Federal Capital Territory is not his ancestral inheritance, private farmland or personal real estate company! Public office is temporary, and every decision affecting public land must withstand public scrutiny. I assured these realtors that their grievances would not be buried in my office. We will demand transparency, accountability and fair treatment for legitimate businesses. Our political aspiration is to see His Excellency @atiku Abubakar become President and pursue reforms that restore confidence in Abuja's property market. And when the democratic process eventually sends Wike back to Rivers State, he should leave behind proper records of every public land decision taken under his watch. Abuja belongs to Nigerians, not to any minister. You may control an office today, but you cannot own the future of the people! Our elders say that when a good person is born, even the moon finds a reason to shine brighter. Tonight, as I return from celebrating the birthday of my dear friend, confidant and our indefatigable Deputy National Secretary of the ADC, @HauwaYusuf_M, my heart is full of joy and gratitude. There are people whose presence feels like home, whose words bring peace in troubled moments and whose loyalty remains firm when the political weather changes. Hauwa is one of them. I have known her long enough to appreciate the beautiful soul behind her courage, the kindness behind her strength and the sacrifices behind her smile. Tonight's laughter reminded me that beyond politics and public office, the greatest blessing is having people who genuinely stand by you. Hauwa, thank you for being one of those people in my life. ❤️ And Hauwa, permit me to make you one beautiful promise tonight: by the grace of Almighty Allah, your next birthday, we shall celebrate at the Presidential Villa, with His Excellency @atiku Abubakar declared President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria! That is our prayer, our political hope and the future we are determined to work towards. May the same Allah who has brought us this far preserve our friendship, bless your dreams and allow us to witness that joyful day together. Until then, keep that beautiful smile, that generous heart and that stubborn determination to make a difference. Happy Birthday once again, my dear Hauwa. Allah Ya raya mu, Ya nuna mana wannan rana cikin alheri! ❤️🎂 Comrade Balarabe Rufa'i

Finally, to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani, we demand the immediate and unconditional release of Mallam @elrufai Ahmad El-Rufai, and justice for every opposition youth unlawfully held in custody! Political disagreement is not treason, and state power must never become an instrument of personal vengeance. Nigerians are crying for food, security, jobs and dignity, yet those who dare to question their suffering face intimidation. You cannot silence hunger with handcuffs! You cannot arrest poverty into submission! And you cannot force an entire generation to love a government through fear! Kaduna is not anybody's inheritance, and Nigeria is not a dictatorship. Enough of political persecution! Enough of intimidation! Tinubu Must Go! UBA SANI, FALLE ƊAYA CE! TINUBU MUST GO! Yesterday, Sunday, 18 October 2026, I stood in Kaduna with courageous opposition youths and political leaders to condemn the alleged harassment, persecution and arbitrary detention of ADC members and stakeholders, not for looting public funds or terrorising communities, but for daring to reject Governor Uba Sani and President Tinubu’s anti-people policies! Imagine a mother waiting outside a detention facility for days, wondering whether her son has eaten. Imagine a father whose only offence, according to his family, was supporting a political movement. Imagine young people watching their friends return from detention, wondering whether they will be next. Your Excellency Governor @ubasanius, its high Time You know that political disagreement is not a crime, and Kaduna is not your private prison! Sir hear this clearly: Kaduna belongs to its people, not to the governor of the day! The Government House is not a throne, the police are not a private political army, and opposition is not a criminal offence. And from Now Henceforth, in Kaduna State UBA SANI, FALLE ƊAYA CE! Will be Our political Slogan, and we will pursue it through the ballot box. You may control the machinery of government today, but you cannot control the conscience of every young person in Kaduna. Political power expires. The memory of injustice does not. I must also disclose that my office has received a deeply troubling report containing serious allegations against an officer reportedly involved in Operation Fushin Kada in Kaduna State. These allegations require urgent, independent investigation. I will not publicly pronounce anyone guilty without evidence, but if the allegations are established, we will not treat the matter lightly. We will demand accountability through every lawful avenue, including formal petitions to the appropriate security authorities, oversight institutions and the courts. Let nobody mistake our commitment to peace for weakness. If opposition youths continue to face unlawful arrests and intimidation, we will organise sustained, peaceful civic resistance, lawful demonstrations and demands for accountability until justice is served. We will not be provoked into violence, and we will not be frightened into silence. To the young people recently released from detention, I say this with a heavy heart: your freedom should never have become a political controversy. I salute your courage and stand in solidarity with you and your families. To those still facing proceedings or detention, we will continue demanding due process and justice. I sincerely appreciate Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Tijjani Umar, Prof. Ahmad Shehu, Hon. Bege Katuka, Hajiya Aisha Suleiman Mai Rago, the El-Rufai Youth Camp, all our respected aspirants, political stakeholders, youth organisations and everyone whose sacrifices made this important Kaduna engagement possible. I also paid a solidarity and courtesy visit to Comrade Sanusi Maikudi (Dan Iyan Jama'a). Our lengthy and deeply impactful discussion offered an important lesson about political leadership. He emphasised that we must work politically smart, not merely politically hard. Courage must be guided by wisdom, and every political struggle must have a clear purpose. Similarly, I paid a courtesy visit to Distinguished Sen Lawal Adamu Usman (Mr. LA), representing Kaduna Central. We held an extensive discussion on youth participation, political development and the responsibilities of our office. I deeply appreciate his warm reception, encouragement and expressed support for the Office of the National Youth Leader.
