Thought of the day Patience
Kindness is having the ability to speak with love, listen with patience and act with compassion.
Patience and perseverance have a magical effect before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish.

We’re proud to open the Teale Room within our Surgical Outpatients Department in Bexley Wing at St James's University Hospital.
The room is a comforting space for our cancer patients and is named in honour of one of our wonderful medical secretaries, Marcelle Teale (pictured cutting the ribbon). Marcelle is known for her kindness and the heartfelt gratitude she receives from the medical team and the patients she supports, which inspired the team to name this room after her.
Thanks to a generous donation from PANPALS, a pancreatic patient support group, and Leeds Hospitals Charity, this space will provide much-needed comfort for our patients. Huge thanks to everyone who made it possible, and a special shout out to Marcelle for being such a valued part of our team!
