Bryson Graham almost cried when he saw the current state of basketball 🥲

Josh Giddey getting some three-point shots up after the Bulls’ practice today. Bryson Graham looks on from the side:

Shame. Story of his career. Huge chance for Ace Bailey to step into a starting room tho I think, so, excited to see that.

Utah Jazz star Jaren Jackson Jr. has sustained a torn MCL in his right knee and will be sidelined for 6-to-8 weeks, sources tell me and @BannedMacMahon. Jackson will not require surgery.

Bulls once again bad in halfcourt basketball, day that ends in Y. We simply need players that can play halfcourt basketball and not only "get their game off" when things are super turbo charged AAU hoops fast break extravaganza

SUPER early look at how team's halfcourt points per possession (logos) compares to last year's (faded logos)

We were bad last year as the graph shows but it was mitigated with alot of high screen and roll that forced guys downhill and we scammed some buckets off that, also had Coby Vuc for half the year that can play in the halfcourt. But Tiago not pacifying with gimmicks so it's ugly

I'm not mad at Tiago for this btw. Its simply going to be ugly until Bryson and Tiago really get this roster in their image. Some positive regression with shooting will happen but needless to say it's still going to be bad/ugly hoop with this personnel

Get Tobe Awaka into the rotation asap please. I want to see something

Just look at the gravity Caleb Wilson has. PG, Garza only focused on him and Derrick White had his back completely turned to Josh Giddey in the corner. This is what making the game easier for others can look like. Unfortunately no one can do this for Caleb consistently, yet.
Ricky O'Donnell@SBN_Ricky5h
This might have been Caleb's most impressive game so far. Looked more in control offensively and was flying around everywhere on defense. Two more plays I loved: this pick-and-roll passing read to Miller + a third quarter block they robbed him of in the box score.

As an aside, I don't think Caleb will be a hard player to build around at all, and I think in only 4 games we've learned a good bit. On both ends its starting to make itself clear what kind of players you want him around him. Unfortunately not many of those types on the roster

Some things like; Wanting 3 guys on the floor that are comfortable guarding the perimeter so he can roam, some stronger rebounders so he can get in the open floor off stops, someone on ball that demands attention that frees up his well timed cuts etc, he's very active off ball

Caleb Wilson was a -3 in a 35 point less. You read that correctly, he was special. Matas Buzelis was a -27, far and away the worst of the starting group. I can't explain how bad Matas has been to start this year. He is hardly playing like a rotation player let alone a starter

Tiago has benched Matas once to close a game but we might need a more drastic measure sooner than later. He is actively dragging down our starters.
