In March, an Imperial College team published results of AVATAR--a 3-arm trial comparing standard CB AF ablation, AAD, and CB ablation *Without* confirming PV isol
Guess what? There were no diff in symptomatic AF bw the two ablation approaches! Both better than drugs

Why has no one talked about this story? No media coverage.
It's totally provocative b/c it challenges the current practice of confirming PVI . #EPeeps

Great great stuff from my adopted homeland, Australia kept it tight and Travis smashed it home despite the conditions, despite the crowd and despite the expectations. 🇦🇺

Most ECGs are printed on paper 📜📜
Thus not suitable to train AI-ECG models
So we developed an automated ECG digitisation algorithm to extract digital ECG signals 🖥️🖥️

What are the immunohistochemical characteristics of atrial sites that trigger atrial arrhythmias in response to high-frequency stimulation?
Our paper now out in Europace.
Amazing work by @DrMYKim and colleagues @ImperialNHLI @ImperialEP - well done!

Great to see my mentor @DrFuSiongNg present some of my PhD work on Granger Causality mapping in AF at #HRS2022. Disappointed I couldn't make it in person this year.
It was great fun presenting on Granger causality mapping at the AF mapping session with other experts, including @S_NarayanMD @VivekReddyMD @Prof_Schilling @AndreasRillig Karl-Heinz Kuck and Peter Spector #HRS2022.
Throwing all the CARTO tools at this. Complex dual loop AT driven by anterior macro-reentry - previous bilateral WACA, MI + roof line. Non inducible eventually. Steered clear of fully bisecting the circuit at the risk of isolating the LAA. #EPeeps @DocOfHearts @CristinaTorrinh

How much emphasis is put on the A:V ratio when ablating AVNRT? SP site w/ "ideal A:V" on A2B2. Wavefront-corrected OT EGM would typically be seen as too large of an A. Has an error in directional sensitivity been assumed as physiology? #OmnipolarTechnology challenges convention.
On a week of complex CRT implants this one took me by surprise on injecting contrast! Still managed to get a good result from subselecting a more proximal branch. Who has seen this before? A previous mitral isthmus line may offer us the clue here. @ZacharyWhinnett @drboonlim
Great AT case in a patient with previous endocardial + surgical AF ablation.Slow conduction via previous atriotomy scar maintaining macro re-entry. Ablation at site leading to non-inducibility. Made easier with Ripple+ CARTO @ImperialEP @CristinaTorrinh @DrFuSiongNg @DocOfHearts

ALT Low-Voltage MultiPulse Therapy to Terminate Atrial Fibrillation MultiPulse Therapy is a sequence of far- and near-field stimulations that terminated atrial fibrillation with an average voltage and energy of 50 V (interquartile range: 25 to 75 V) and 0.58 J (interquartile range: 0.15 to 1.15 J), respectively.
