Kaspa is sitting in a different phase now. The old conversation was speed: GHOSTDAG, blockDAG ordering, parallel blocks, 10 BPS, and proof-of-work without forcing every honest block into a linear orphan race. That part matters, but it is no longer the whole story. The current state of Kaspa is about what that high-frequency PoW substrate can now carry.
Toccata changes the transaction layer. A Kaspa transaction is no longer just a value-transfer object. Transaction v1 gives it a programmable surface: compute budget for explicit script metering, covenant bindings for stable lineage, payload and gas semantics for app lanes, and the ability to carry proof-backed state transitions. That means the transaction can become a payment, a covenant transition, a settlement receipt, a ZK verification target, or an ordered user operation for an off-chain app.
The important design choice is that Kaspa did not throw away the UTXO model to chase an account-chain VM. State can stay local. A covenant UTXO can commit to old state, reveal it during spend, validate the transition, and force the correct successor output. KIP-20 gives that moving state a stable covenant ID, so the application can preserve lineage even as the actual script commitment changes. KIP-16 adds ZK verification. KIP-21 adds partitioned sequencing, letting based apps prove lane-local activity instead of proving the entire DAG.
That creates a cleaner split: Kaspa orders and settles; apps execute off-chain when they need heavier shared state; proofs bring the result back to L1.
The next battle is not raw protocol theory. It is standards and tooling: covenant ABIs, transaction builders, indexers, wallet policies, lane schemas, proof journals, exits, receipts, and developer frameworks.
Kaspa has moved from fast money into programmable PoW infrastructure. The primitives are live. Now the ecosystem has to make them usable.
This coin gives me early Kaspa vibes. 👀
Heavy emissions. Surprisingly little selling pressure. $SOQ 👀
My take? At this ridiculously low valuation, miners may prefer stacking to selling for pennies.
New supply doesn’t automatically hit the market. Holders decide.
If demand keeps absorbing what sellers offer, this could get interesting fast.

The community has spoken! After an open vote lasting more than 12 hours, donors chose Aveiro. I covered the remaining amount, and the StagHunt campaign reached its target. The funds will be used to take the Kaspa Rally Car to the Aveiro MotorShow Rally Stage on 5–6 December 2026.
Attached is a copy of the Aveiro MotorShow entry form, dated 26 October 2026. The KAS funds are held in the kas.coffee/kasrallyteam wallet, where the community can view them.
We’ve achieved our goal: getting the car racing this year and giving people the chance to see it in person. Thank you to everyone who made this possible!

more blocks doesn’t mean more coins.
when kaspa went from 1 to 10 blocks per second, the reward per block was reduced to keep the issuance schedule.

Kaspa's token standard is now final.
KCC-1, KCC-2 and KCC-20 were finalized on October 21. Michael Sutton co authored all three. Ori Newman co authored KCC-1 and KCC-20. Their KIP-20 covenant IDs and KIP-17 opcodes went live in Toccata.
Five authority schemes. One shared ABI. One token covenant. Here is what it means 🧵

This description of DAGKnight completely misses the point.
DAGKnight improves confirmation speed, NOT throughput. But the bigger innovation challenges something most cryptocurrencies take for granted which is a reliably connected internet.
Imagine an undersea cable gets severed, splitting the network into two disconnected regions.
Bitcoin: Both sides mine competing chains, and transactions on the losing chain are reversed.
Ethereum: Without two-thirds of validator stake participating, finality stops.
DAGKnight: Kaspa can merge blocks from both sides back into one blockDAG, preserving valid, nonconflicting transactions from both regions rather than simply discarding an entire competing branch like Bitcoin.
This is about fundamentally stronger consensus, not just speed.
Arguably the only cryptocurrency that can handle WW3 conditions. This is exactly what Yonatan spoke about in his DAGKnight presentation.

Building something for NeuralKey holders this weekend: on-chain ownership verification inside YKey Genesis, so holders unlock their perks just by proving they hold the NFT. No signatures beyond login, no transactions.Everything works up to the last step. We verify ownership against the KRC-721 indexers, then cross-check chain freshness with api.kaspa.org.
Since this morning that API returns data ~23h old on /info/blockdag and errors on other endpoints, so our check refuses to grant anything on stale data (by design).@kaspaunchained is anyone aware of an issue with api.kaspa.org today, and is there an ETA?
Happy to share details if useful. Not blocking the launch, just want holders to have a smooth first experience. 🧬
Hello, Kaspians! 🏁💚
Today we tested the new ECU tune on the Kaspa Rally Car, and the difference I felt was huge: much more low-end torque and a much sharper response!
Before, the engine only seemed to wake up at high revs. Now it pulls from low revs all the way to the limiter. When left-foot braking, as soon as I release the brake, the car pulls straight away. We’re still fine-tuning everything, but today’s testing definitely put a big smile on my face! 😁
Tomorrow there’s more work to do: adjust the hydraulic handbrake and realign the car, reviewing the rear camber and toe to make the rear end more predictable when it starts sliding.
I didn’t push too hard today… this clutch has definitely seen better days 😅
If we manage to complete the StagHunt, it’s going to be a real race against time: remove the gearbox for an overhaul, replace the clutch while it’s out, and strip down the differential to switch to a 4.44 final drive. Even with the 3.91, the gearing still feels too tall for what we need.
Every test shows us what has improved and what still needs work. We’re getting closer, and none of this would have been possible without you.
A heartfelt thank-you to everyone donating, sharing, helping and continuing to believe in this project. 💚🏁

Michael Sutton is building Argent — the AI-agent programming language for Kaspa
Kaspa core developer Michael Sutton is shipping Argent: an actor-based language and compiler designed so both humans and AI agents can build complex on-chain applications on Kaspa’s L1 covenants.
Argent lets you compose multiple contracts, link apps atomically, and expose clean interfaces — all compiling down to auditable SilverScript that runs natively on Kaspa’s BlockDAG. No separate VM. No trusted bridge. Just pure PoW consensus enforcing the rules.
Sutton put it plainly: giving agents a clean language model is the difference between usage and no usage. Humans and AI both thrive with higher-order abstractions. Argent is that layer — so agents can post tasks, manage state, compose with other apps, and settle payments without wrestling raw opcodes or fragile off-chain glue.
Why this matters for market share:
• AI agents need fast, cheap, deterministic settlement. Kaspa already has 10 BPS and micro-fees.
• They need enforceable rules and atomic multi-app composition. Toccata covenants + Argent deliver that on L1.
• They need something they can actually read, generate, and verify. Argent’s actor model and open interfaces are built for that.
While other chains still bolt agent tooling onto slow or custodial stacks, Kaspa is making the base layer agent-native. Argent is the missing piece that turns “programmable PoW” into “the place AI agents actually build and transact.”
The rails are live. The language is being built for the machines. That’s how Kaspa takes share in the agent economy.

kaspa’s growth in 2026.
seeing $KAS turn into one of the most technologically advanced Layer 1s on earth in 2026, when 4 years ago it was seen as a mere replacement for $ETH mining after it transitioned to PoS, makes me feel like a proud dad.
Kaspa has officially evolved beyond P2P payments:
>programmable Layer-1 (Toccata)
>native fungible tokens (KCC-20)
>native KAS privacy research on testnet
on-chain memecoin launchpads (Kaspaseal)
> building toward a programmable PoW ecosystem without switching to PoS.
adoption is near.
BaN𐤊ℚuOτE retweeted
I think in the next few months we will see the most crucial moment for $KAS, when it comes to adoption. Let's work together, for real utility.
Something significant is emerging within Kaspa’s development ecosystem, and I believe its implications extend considerably beyond conventional cryptocurrency applications. The convergence of x402, SilverScript, Argent, and Toccata introduces the foundations for an entirely new economic paradigm: autonomous machines participating in markets through programmable, cryptographically enforced financial relationships.
Consider the architecture. x402 allows AI agents to purchase services directly through HTTP requests, eliminating much of the friction associated with accounts, subscriptions, and conventional payment processors. Kaspa-specific implementations are already being developed, including experimental native payment schemes that demonstrate how this functionality could operate directly on Kaspa’s L1.
SilverScript provides the programmable enforcement layer. Its recently released compiler enables developers to construct stateful UTXO covenants governing spending permissions, collateral, escrow, and conditional settlement. An autonomous agent could therefore possess financial autonomy without possessing unrestricted financial authority.
Argent introduces something arguably more consequential: atomic coordination between independently defined contractual actors. Its inter-covenant communication architecture enables multiple stateful applications to interact within a single transaction. Imagine an agent purchasing computation from another agent, establishing collateral, verifying contractual conditions, and releasing payment through coordinated covenant transitions.
Now incorporate Kaspa’s KIP-16 zero-knowledge verification, KIP-20 covenant identities, KIP-21 sequencing commitments, and the developing vProgs architecture. Together, these technologies point toward increasingly sophisticated economic systems where computation occurs beyond L1 while cryptographic proofs and settlement remain anchored to proof-of-work consensus.
The resulting possibility is fascinating.
An autonomous agent could earn KAS by providing services, purchase additional computational resources, subcontract specialized agents, and reinvest revenue into expanding its productive capabilities.
Economic activity would increasingly emerge from machine-to-machine coordination rather than exclusively human consumption.
Importantly, this infrastructure is not entirely hypothetical. Its individual components are already being implemented, although significant integration, security, and adoption challenges remain.
Kaspa may ultimately become more than a decentralized monetary network. It could become the economic coordination substrate through which autonomous intelligence acquires resources, exchanges value, and participates in an increasingly self-organizing digital economy.

KaspaDollar is the first decentralized stablecoin on the $KAS Network
This is a MASSIVE development in the #Kaspa ecosystem
Great work @asaefstroem in leading this initiative!
The #Kaspa community keeps building, even in the depths of a bear market. Bullish on the $KAS community and network
Today we are introducing KaspaDollar, an initiative led by core developer @asaefstroem to build the first decentralized stablecoin on the $KAS network.
The developments around @kccforum and the Toccata hardfork have considerably widened what Kaspa is capable of. Capability alone, however, does not make an ecosystem. Decentralized finance requires a unit of account that holds its value, and until Kaspa has a stablecoin of its own, every application built on it will remain dependent on assets issued elsewhere.
The design we intend to follow is the decentralized, overcollateralized stablecoin: a pattern whose security properties have been examined and tested across the industry for the better part of a decade. With the support of the core team, we consider the conditions right to bring it to Kaspa.
Realizing this requires development, an independent audit, further research, and the operational work of taking a protocol from specification to production. To fund it, we are opening a fundraiser with a target of 5,000,000 KAS.
Contributions are made directly to the fundraising address published on the website. Should the target not be reached by 1 January 2027, every contribution will be returned to the address from which it was sent.
Up until that point, this account will share the plans, details and progress of the work as it develops.
Tis just the beginning.
they’re calling it “Black October” and i don’t think people realize how serious this is
in the last 48 hours there have been over 27 major cybersecurity incidents. not in a month. not in a week. in 48 hours
any ONE of these would normally be the biggest story of the year
PHP: critical vulnerability in the software running 80% of the web. severity 9.2 out of 10
Node.js: high-severity flaw letting attackers take over servers remotely. affects versions 22, 24, and 26
Java: also compromised. three of the most used programming languages on earth hit at the same time
GitLab: a perfect 10 out of 10 severity hole in every version since 2014
Railway: hosting platform compromised. API keys for OpenAI, Claude, Stripe potentially exposed
Signal: a bug that could leave your mic and camera on after you hang up
WordPress: hackers stole a plugin maker’s keys and planted backdoors on websites
LiteLLM: an AI tool downloaded 3.4 million times a day was poisoned with a password stealer
and that’s not even half the list
thousands of AI agent swarms are reportedly scanning and attacking vulnerable servers right now. automated. around the clock
security researchers are saying this might be the early stages of a global cyber incident that nobody fully understands yet
if you run a website, use cloud services, store API keys on hosting platforms, or use any software built on PHP, Node.js, or Java you are potentially affected
update everything. rotate your API keys. change your passwords on critical services. enable 2FA everywhere you haven’t already
this is not a normal week on the internet. this is something different

Well prophesied
My prophecy: Kaspa core will keep researching, budling and delivering. Yonatan will continue to lead it in terms of vision, far-reaching long-term research and short-term endless day-to-day brainstorming. Core R&D will continue to scale and expand to wider and wider circles. Builders and developers will keep joining L2 testnets and build dapps which utilize Kaspa’s inherent superiorities. Kaspa’s marketing will decentralize more and more. There will be no central voice. As part of the many voices, core members will find ways to communicate their vision and nuanced discussions to the broader crypto community. Truthfulness will prevail. Kaspa core will identify with people who actively contribute, build, research and think about Kaspa from the moment they wake up until the moment they fall asleep. Educators, pedagogues and evangelizers will do what they do best and communicate at different levels based on their knowledge and expertise. I will keep researching, thinking, developing and posting about Kaspa and speak as directly, accurately and truthfully as I can. I love you all (not a prophecy). We just started.

Toccata is such a crazy unlock. Programmable money with a programmable settlement layer right on L1, and because it rides on Kaspa it’s fast and secure from the root. Fascinating to build on: every wall I’ve hit so far was a budget, not a missing feature. Great work from everyone involved. KCC20 is the tip of the iceberg.
