It's out! Our review on "Quantitative principles of (microbial) metabolism shared across scales" is out in Nature Microbiology. Studies of metabolism often focus on one specific scale (enzyme, cell, organism, community) – yet they are connected. How can we bridge this gap?

In just over two weeks, I will be defending my PhD thesis (!!!) that looks to further our understanding of marine cobalamin dynamics through quantitative measurements 🌊🧪✨👩🏻‍💻 Please reach out if you are interested in attending the public defence via Zoom!

New preprint from my PhD thesis out now! ✨One of my favorite parts of this paper is bridging the gap between cultures and environmental samples. Looking forward to the review process :)

Proud supervisor moment! ✨ I got to watch Anna present her honours research this weekend. I've been lucky enough to supervise her for 2.5 years and have watched her grow as a scientist and problem solver. Next up for both of us is the annual Ocean Science Meeting next week!

The work I did at the @NRC_CNRC's Biotoxin Metrology Group last Fall is now out! ✨ I had a wonderful time investigating how different environmental and physiological conditions influenced the profile of a fish-killing algal toxin 🐟 tinyurl.com/6zar3wd3
