.@MagicJohnson's high school counselor and university advisors at @michiganstateu changed his life, and yesterday he reminded 7,000+ admission & counseling professionals that we’ve been called to do this work. WE are in the life changing business. It was MAGICAL. #NACAC2024
Why I love the NACAC conference.
Getting to see old friends and make new ones…check

I have thought a bit about the challenges College Board is facing with scheduling test centers. And I thought about the root cause of the issue. And I did a little research. And I think I have a solution. #EMTalk

I know this is a little late (I was lost in AP land last week), but I want to thank @WPRCA for honoring me with their Professional Recognition for Leadership aka/ Counselor of the Year award.
This organization was instrumental in connecting me with an amazing community of professionals and helped me make the transition from the NYC DOE to Westchester. I also need to thank my colleagues in Pelham and especially @CounselPelham.
I wholeheartedly agree with this message.
“the decision to require admissions tests, or go test-optional, is not primarily a function of data. Rather, it is driven by values…”

They leave for #RegeneronISEF in LA today! Good luck to our 3 amazing researchers! Special shout out to all of the students from @WESEFboard and the entire team that makes it all happen! @PMHSResearch @AmplifyPelham @PelhamSchoolsNY
To all my friends and colleagues in the classroom I see the products of your efforts every day and salute you!
Here's to the extraordinary educators who inspire, innovate, and ignite curiosity every day! Thank you, teachers, for all you do. 💫🍎 #TeacherAppreciationWeek
School counselors, we may need to start compiling information on these types of concerns. It is worrisome to think that some of our students could end up at institutions that are not able to remain open.
