Still miss the Alnwick shop & tearoom (the people mostly), but decision to close them 2yrs ago made the rest of Bari stronger for what was obviously going to be a difficult future. My heart & best wishes go out to others in the hospitality sector. xC

Gary tells it as it is, with passion (and a few swear words). Honestly, far too many amazing businesses are closing through no fault of their own. The impact on the greater economy will be huge. unemployment will increase. Your high-street will be desolate. We need action

Here’s some of our Bari flock of teapets in the Bari Depot office. We used to sit them with customers who were taking tea on their own in our former Alnwick Tea Brewery. Shared tea is the best tea. ☺️

It's pure evil when you order a pot of tea but the tea pot is the same size as a cup

An update about reopening plans Monday 17/05: Alas, nope. COVID wasn’t challenging enough for us, so our kitchen ceiling came down due to heavy rain. That’s taking time to get sorted. Fear not, our tea is safe and well (phew) baritea.co.uk/buy-our-tea/ Hope to see you all soon! xC
