I like quiet people. Smart as fuck. Zero show-off. No performance. No drama. Just a calm vibe. Who aren't loud just to be noticed. Who read deep books. Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Nietzsche. Who can sit through a 2-hour documentary about bees and aliens and octopuses and genuinely enjoy it. They find beauty in the ordinary things. Think deeply. Talk less, understand more. The ones who stay low-key and private in a world obsessed with being "seen". These are my people.

🍂 Beautiful fall walk along New York City’s High Line tonight.
Once an elevated freight railroad built in the 1930s, it’s now a 1.45-mile park above Manhattan’s west side.
Fall foliage, architecture, and Hudson River views.
Have you walked the whole thing? – at New York, NY

This afternoon in Marble Hill, a New Yorker was shot by an ICE agent in a residential neighborhood. Early reports indicate agents surrounded him and a 5-year-old child in his car before firing multiple rounds. We believe the child was physically unharmed.
This is an unconscionable and incredibly serious situation. I have called the President; when we speak I will demand that he ends all ICE enforcement actions in our city. I will not stand by while ICE agents terrorize our communities.
Our thoughts are with the injured New Yorker and his family tonight. We are praying for his recovery.
Get ICE out of our neighborhoods. Get ICE out of our hospitals. Get ICE off our streets. Get ICE away from our children.
Abolish ICE.

As Brazil’s election goes to a second round, Raphinha is one of the few players in the Brazilian national team to have openly taken a stand against the far right.
Raphinha, who plays for Barcelona, was also one of the footballers who openly criticized the previous Bolsonaro government in public.

I don’t ask for a payment, it’s not right to benefit. Instead ask for a donation to @samaritans who do brilliant work listening to people in distress. Suicide is still the biggest killer of men under 50 and women under 40 in the UK.
