The difference between a journalist and a grifter is that a journalist might look at this poster and decide to investigate why someone made it, whereas a grifter is just looking to dispense a pre-packaged talking point. Which best describes GB News anchor Alex Armstrong?

So here's where he's got it from - it's a week-old list from a different police force, in which "religious or cultural beliefs" is included as item six in a list of reasons asking people to be considerate. This now forms the basis for a culture-war media frenzy.

This week, Stephen Lennon was found guilty of harassing two journalists. In the trial it was revealed that Lennon used a private investigator to access the journalists’ contact information - likely former MI5 agent Peter Keeley who spent 15 years undercover in the IRA. hopenothate.org.uk/lennons-s…

Hi Alex. This is a poster that can be used by anyone, such as elderly or vulnerable residents, who do not wish to have unexpected callers or be disturbed. At no point have we mentioned that Halloween can upset "religious or cultural" beliefs.

This from @reformparty_uk’s proposed crypto bill is dangerous nonsense. Govt has absolutely no business engaging in a speculative punt (crypto isn’t even a financial asset, as it generates no cash) like this, and UK reserves exist for purely precautionary reasons.

Also, "MailOnline tracked down Robinson's location after he posted a video of himself in the hotel's gym". He wanted privacy and security but couldn't resist showing off his lifestyle and disregard for the court. Hubris.

"Journalists were given an escort out of the courtroom by security after one of them was threatened inside the court by one of [Tommy] Robinson’s supporters. The man was ejected from the press gallery and later from the courtroom" theguardian.com/uk-news/2026… xitter.gq/daveatherton/status/21…
I've just been ejected from Court Number 2 where Tommy @TRobinsonNewEra is expecting his verdict. I sat in the press section & they asked me to move on. I suggested only state approved journalists are allowed? A little shit from MSM said yes. I said, "Like the Soviet Union & NAZI Germany?"

Atherton isn't just some online outlier - he gets regular fringe-right media appearances and is often photographed about London with figures who either represent or are allied with Reform UK, including Nigel Farage's associate Lois Perry.

Dave Atherton follows up his complaint that he was ejected from court for not being a proper journalist by expressing the opinion that "the jury looked suspect".

As long as you have a press card you shouldn't have been asked to move as per the revised 2026 court/media protocol You did have your press card with you, yes? gov.uk/government/publicatio…

When you are totally owned by Richard Holden then you have lost. Farage broadcast his lies, on a live presser, on GB News, in the Telegraph And then is called out by numerous MPs with reality and fact

If you are public figure directing a political movement while on the run from an arrest warrant after skipping court (not to mention staying in a luxury resort in Cyprus two years after declaring bankruptcy), then you do not really have a reasonable expectation of privacy

Robinson's justification defence was incoherent - he said he "panicked" and was "scared" by the Mail exposé, but also that he had not known that posting photographs of the homes of journalists would similarly put them "in fear". bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cq2d…

Six years ago, Yaxley Lennon harassed Byline writers Mike Stuchbery and Tim Fenton so badly that they eventually left the country. (He also promised to pay me a visit!) Anyone condoning these kinds of tactics doesn't believe in a free press. It's a license for thuggery.
Tommy Robinson has been found guilty - it is my view that the system has, again, treated him unfairly. We live in dark times.

'The jury accepted the prosecution's case that Robinson had hired detectives to "intimidate" the journalists'. One wonders who these private investigators were.
