When I was younger I used to go watch my older brother play baseball games. He’s only a year older and my friends were on his team. I wasn’t good enough to be on that team Forgive me for liking the idea but absolutely finding it to be something I would not do as a player
MLB announces that Payton Tolle will serve as one of three World Series Correspondents. He will appear on MLB Network, produce content for MLB's social channels and offer player perspective on the matchup. Couldn't imagine a better choice for that role.

Was retaining Aaron Boone news, or was it a nothing burger? On this podcast, we think relatively the latter He did the best with what he was given in 2026, especially with Judge missing so much time. Full episode at the links down below ⬇️⬇️

Been saying it since the deadline. If Michael Wacha is made available, the Braves should be all over it

A large part of me really does wonder why? If he’s fully healthy and not overworked from pitching, we probably see a better offensive Postseason from him this year I would say he is far more important as a hitter than pitcher, especially with their current rotation…
Speaking at the Dodgers end of year press conference, president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman said surgery is not on the table for Shohei Ohtani, and that he “fully expects” Ohtani to pitch next year. #Dodgers

Noah Syndergard being that person just truly shows how fleeting MLB success can be His 18.8 fWAR through his first 5 seasons as a flamethrowing SP for the Mets feels like a fever dream
Only 1 pitch has been thrown by a starting pitcher in a World Series game at 101+ MPH in the entire pitch tracking era (2008-now). That is about to change.

There’s been a lot of conversation around the Yankees and the roster put together by Cashman in 2026 The reality, is that most teams wouldn’t get even half as far as the Yankees did this year without their best hitter Building for that wild card scenario is nearly impossible

This team has played >.500 baseball for THIRTY-FOUR straight seasons and competed Why would an owner in that situation be in favor of something that evens the playing field if not just for increasing the value of his asset?
Hal Steinbrenner is asked if he'd be in favor of a salary cap in MLB: "I helped craft the proposals that we have given at the bargaining table, and I support those proposals in their entirety. That should answer your question."
