I just hope Kyle knows the way the FO treated him is the exact opposite of how the fan base feels about him. Should be an Ms HOF member.
🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨 WE HAVE OUR 100TH MEMBER! Kyle Seager received 97% of 41,500 votes and is now officially the 100th Hall of Pretty Good inductee. Seager, who was born on November 3rd, 1987, in California, was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 3rd round of the 2009 MLB Draft after a successful college career at UNC, where he was a semifinalist for the Golden Spikes Award. Seager would have a quick rise through the minor leagues and make his MLB debut on July 6th, 2011. This would jumpstart one of the most consistent and underrated careers in recent memory. Seager would be a beacon of durability, only heading to the injured list once in his 11-year career. From 2012-2019, Seager always managed to hit at least 20 home runs in a season, a streak that was only stopped by the limited 60-game season in 2020. Had the season been played in full, he was on pace to reach 24 long balls, keeping pace with his consistent production. Seager was a one-time All-Star and a one-time Gold Glove Award winner. He also received MVP votes in two different seasons (2014 and 2016). One of the most memorable things about Kyle Seager’s career was his notable final season, which saw him set career highs in home runs (35) and RBIs (101). After that power surge in 2021, he decided to hang up the cleats at the age of 33. Kyle Seager is regarded as one of the best players in Mariners history, having been included on the team’s list of 50 best players to celebrate the Mariners’ 50th anniversary. At the time of his induction, Seager ranks 4th in games played in franchise history, 4th in hits, 4th in home runs, 3rd in doubles, and 4th in RBIs. Seager grew up a Yankees fan and loved Derek Jeter. While Jeter received 97.75% of the Hall of Fame votes a few years ago, getting 97% of over 40,000 fan votes to become the 100th HoPG inductee sounds pretty good to me. Congratulations to Mariners legend Kyle Seager!

Had the pleasure of catching a game from this seat back in early July for $12. It was 105+ degrees out and the place was packed with devotees. This fanbase deserves it all. Congrats @Brewers

This is what they are calling a “field”

It’s a crime that Tampa Bay Rays call this shithole a “field” It’s a necessity to have grass if you are going to name something a field Brewers in 4 because of this

Sam Darnold is not helping this team win, but the Seahawks have a bigger offense problem. Predictable play calls and flat play design set the players up to fail even if they execute. Sam has shown he can win when the system is working--this system is failing and so is he.

Ginger Cuz is gone, he's White Geno now

Is anybody asking the Brian Fleury question yet?

Hear me out.. MLB and the main networks only have themselves to blame for not marketing the small market teams.

The lockout is not and has never been about competitiveness. The owners have a number in mind for annual spend and growth rate. The players union also has a number in mind. As each side takes a step off their number, a "competitive balance" rule will be put in place
The lockout will be tough but seeing as how four of five remaining playoff teams are ranked 19th, 24th, 28th, and 30th (last) in payroll it’s obvious why it’s necessary. We need to fix the competitive balance issue plaguing the sport.

Grant Taylor at 91.2 IP and still going.. who knows what CWS are going to do with him in 2027, but it's a fun problem to have.
Grant Taylor is on pace to fall short of his innings goal (100) by over 20 innings. Hasn’t pitched since Sunday and doesn’t even get multiple (or any) innings in a bullpen game. At this point I’m convinced they’ve just given up on the idea of him in the 2027 starting rotation

Derek Jeter just said one of his strongest theories is that teams take on the personality of their manager and holy shit if this year's team doesn't exemplify that

It is literally impossible to imagine the 2026 Mariners playing the style of focused and determined baseball that we are seeing in the playoffs

Lmao. Franchise legend, first time manager.
MLB Network's Jon Morosi told @WymanAndBob the #Mariners' managerial position will be one of the most coveted this offseason. His list of top candidates included franchise legend Raúl Ibañez. “Raúl is going to be a major league manager at some point.” sports.mynorthwest.com/mlb/s…

Mariners next manager is going to be Mark DeRosa and 2027 will be just as much of amateur hour as 2026 was

"Hey grandpa, how many games did the greatest QB in Seahawks history start?"
