Parents : Over the next couple of weeks , you will be sent an email telling you that your student athlete can participate on a “ National Team” in December -PG winter classic, Jan -MLK classic etc. AVOID ! Those events are the start of injuries in spring !
Pretty close to having the 2027 pregame infield mix complete. Of course the guys will probably turn this one down just like the others. 🤷🏻♂️😂

JUCO to D1 transfer rules changed in June.
The transferable GPA is now 2.0, not 2.5. A qualifier out of high school needs one full-time semester at the two-year college.
One catch in baseball: transfer in January and he sits that spring.
Ask compliance in writing.
Looking for a training facility in the Rock Hill, South Carolina area. Spot to get some work in for a weekend. Any recommendations?

Will be in the Charlotte area 11/14. Any schools available for an unofficial visit that day for a 2028 C/1B/OF? #uncommitted @bsblbluebook @BUncommitted

BASEBALL PARENTS: ⚾️👇
According to NCAA estimates:
• 472,598 high school baseball players.
• Just 8.8% advance to NCAA baseball.
• Only 2.7% reach Division I.
Now consider this...
D1 programs operating under the new roster rules generally have 34 roster spots.
Those spots aren't just for incoming freshmen. They're shared with returning players, transfers, and other recruits.
Here's what I wish more parents understood...
Your son can be GOOD ENOUGH to play at a school and STILL never receive an offer.
Why?
Because recruiting isn't simply about talent.
It's about POSITIONAL NEEDS, ROSTER AVAILABILITY, PROJECTABILITY, ACADEMICS, FINANCES, and TIMING.
A coach knowing your son doesn't mean he's recruiting him.
And a coach not offering your son doesn't automatically mean he isn't good enough.
My advice?
Study rosters. Understand the numbers. Ask better questions. Find the right fit, and go where you're wanted ‼️
Don't put a ceiling on your kid's dreams, but don't ignore the realities of the process either.
The goal isn't just to get RECRUITED. It's to find somewhere your son can DEVELOP, COMPETE, and SUCCEED.
Knowledge is power. 🙌

A parent sent me this today, and it is worth every 2027 and 2028 family reading.
His son received about a dozen calls on August 1. Some mid-major offers came early. He passed, not because he thought he was too good for them, but because he knew he was still growing and had not found the right fit.
He talked to everyone. He told every coach up front what he was looking for: school, campus, staff, development. When offers were on the table, he told them all he would decide after the fall tournament, and he kept his word.
The right school came to watch. He committed last week.
His father's words: don't fall for the hype, stay true to yourself, and no player will regret taking his time.
Choose. Don't chase.
Congratulations to Anthony Broussard (Lake Arthur | 2027) on receiving his first offer to play at the next level.

A coach followed you on X. Most athletes follow back and wait. That silence is why the window closes. DM him within the hour: "Coach, thank you for the follow. I'm very interested in your program. Have you had a chance to watch my highlight?" Then link your film.

98% of recruiting is just having the stamina to follow up w coaches consistently and politely.

Basic Recruiting Facts
Potential recruits and their parents need to understand something loud and clear.
College coaches want the oldest and most experienced players they can find.
The majority of portal players are either proven or had the entitlement and immaturity knocked out of them.
The player that gets to play is usually happier than the player that sits on the bench.
Get good advice and go where you are wanted and most importantly needed.
