Small is quite misleading
When youโre well over 6ft tall
The devil is in the details โจso just donโt pay attention
Oh this Adderall
Will be the end of us all
But at least I know youโll be up
Out back counting stars
it's so crazy that this is all just one guy
When I was young, Iโd disappear into comics when things became too much to handle.
I read everything, but the X-Men comics were always my favorite escape from reality.
I spent my youth as a mutant, constantly feeling different and wrong. I so deeply wished for Professor X to freeze time around me, stop the horror, and bring me back to the X-Mansion. Surely heโd show me how to feel okayโฆ or maybe Iโd even learn to be a hero.
Year after year, no one arrived. Over and over, I wished for adventure, meaning, any semblance of belonging. I grew angry at the world for making me feel differentโฆ undesirable for something I had to keep hidden from the worldโฆ
I was nothing but a mutant, and there was no place for mutants in the real world.
But now I look in the mirror and I recognize myselfโฆ Iโm truly happy to be me.
Professor X visited me through the comics, movies, and shows that I never stopped reading or watching.
I just didnโt realize heโd shown up for me the first time I opened Giant-Size X-Menโฆ
He froze time every moment I'd get stuck on a page. He helped me believe that maybe, someday, there could be a place in this world for someone like me.
And eventually,
I found it.
RIP Sir Patrick Stewart.
Thank you for bringing to life a character who helped a lonely lost mutant believe she could grow up to be happy.
the fire is warm
but just up to the knees
I'm afraid to get burned
but i'd get closer
if you said please
For the love of godโฆ
All of you need to stop using canned motion curves while building motion with Claude!
Design some motion Jesus Christ?!
does anyone want to fly me to a far away land for all of December so I can unplug from the holidays?
please?
my plans fell through.
I spent most of my life disassociated so most of my pre transition memories are distant and through third person perspective.
Now that I feel like a totally different person post transition, a good portion of my past feels like it happened to someone else.
Just something I've recently been unpacking
