Inter-ethnic marriage usually works out the best, but if you are Muslim, you shouls prefer that Bosnian women marry a Muslim pakistani or turkish or arab, than a non-muslim Bosnian (same for the other gender). You can't put ethnicity above faith, sorry.
I am a follower of Imam Aristotle, but on this point he was just wrong. The point of arguing with average people is not to become better at it, but to make people who have demonstrably false beliefs uncomfortable with their beliefs. Discomfort leads them to doubt, doubt to change
Fun fact: Jyllands-Posten insisted on publishing the cartoons because of "muh freedom of speech". When challenged by an Iranian newspaper to also publish cartoons making fun of the holocaust, they first said yes, and then backtracked because they spineless cowards.
After Muslims burned Danish embassies and killed roughly 250 people over cartoons of Muhammad, Western media hid the images while the UN investigated the newspaper instead of the killers.
Flemming Rose ordered the drawings in 2005 specifically because Danish publishers had already stopped illustrating the Prophet.
Imam Abu Laban then carried the originals plus 3 images he fabricated himself around the Middle East to manufacture larger outrage.
Kurt Westergaard spent New Year’s 2010 locked in a panic room with his 5 year old granddaughter while a Somali chopped through the door with an axe.
When Charlie Hebdo reprinted the cartoons in 2020, a teacher was beheaded weeks later for showing them in class.
20 years later, most Western newsrooms still refuse to print them.

Haven't spoken to my dad in like a week and then out of nowhere he sends me a picture on WhatsApp of a knife he bought, along with the word "Srbosjek"
Fun fact the south-slavic word for potato (krompir) actually comes from "earth pear", which is funny because many other languages use the "earth apple" to describe potatoes instead
Why does the president of Serbia have beef with my moot

Wealth isn't just a product of labor. If I invent something a billion people want to buy for 10 dollars, then my idea was worth 10 billion dollars, "hard work" notwithstanding. How is this hard to understand?
Crazy to think that in 1996, Alija Izetbegovic got almost 750.000 votes and a vote share of 80%, essentially 200.000 more votes than literally ALL Bosniak candidates in 2026 combined.

thank you mr efendic you are my strongest soldier
EVEN worse, apparently the united SDA-SDP list in Repulika Srpska didn't make it above the ~15000 vote threshold with 11000 votes because Efendic's SBIH split the vote by taking 4000 votes. Why didn't he join SDA-SDP???? Literally cost us the RS representation now as well
Actually, Semir Efendic's candidacy might also have cost us the Croat member of presidency, since a lot of former Komsic-votes might have gone to Efendic. Essentially, one dude destroyed our chances at two presidency seats. Dunno how he can go to sleep tonight
Semir Efendic's candidacy was just a generational crashout. He never had a chance of winning, but instead of joining forces with Bakir he just had to sate his ego or whatever? And now NPC Becirovic will probably win
One question I have is that if the credibility of a hadith depends not just on the isnad but also the extent to which the matn conflicts with the Quran, who then determines the latter? Hadith scholars were hadith scholars, not necessarily experts in fiqh or aqida.
There is one very important thing I noticed about the Hadiths. Considerable effort and time goes into making sure the chain of narration is correct and authentic. And again they put SO MUCH effort into this, it's genuinely amazing and that should be credited.
But the catch is that in most cases the the Hadith is automatically accepted as Sahih if the chain of narration is correct. So then this begs the question, what if the guy, even if all is in order, is still wrong and said the wrong thing? And it does not have to be malicious, people mishear and misunderstand things all the time.
If the guy says X happened in the year 622, that goes into Sahih regardless of if the fact is true or not. This is why you tend to have so many contradicting hadiths among those are considered authentic. For example, Ibn Abbas says that Muhammad stayed in Mecca for 13 years (sunnah.com/bukhari:3851), while another guy says he stayed in Mecca for 10 years (sunnah.com/bukhari:3547). And let's not even talk about Muhammad's last sermon, because the reports are all over the place in that one as well.
To be fair, Hadiths do have requirements like absence of hidden defects (ʿillah), and absence of contradiction with more reliable material (shudhūdh). A hadith fails on shudhūdh if it contradicts more reliable hadiths or the Qur'an, and fails on ʿillah if it carries a subtle flaw undermining it even when it looks sound on the surface. But the content checks that exist are almost entirely checks for internal consistency, not external factual verification. Shudhūdh asks whether the report clashes with something already considered more authoritative (Quran or a stronger hadith), ʿillah asks whether there's a technical flaw a specialist can detect, but neither properly addresses the question of "did this event actually happen the way the narrator remembers it?"
Because again, you can have an honest, non-malicious narrator who simply misremembers a detail. And this is a genuine gap the Hadith system does not reliably address. It becomes particularly problematic when something like the Hadiths are considered a core part of the Religion, that followers have to follow, and skepticism of it would lead you out of the fold of the religion.
The way I see it, if the Hadith system is to be maintained, it should not be open to the public, and only handled by skilled and knowledgable Theologians, similar to how scripture was handled by Catholics before the Reformation. Because if any Idiot can open Sahih Al Bukhari, point to a random Hadith and say "You need to do this, and you should follow me, they have gone astray" then it can lead to devastating consequences, and in fact, it already has. But I believe it is too late for that now.
