Stunning admission by California during yesterday’s Ninth Circuit hearing.
California admitted they do nothing to check the citizenship status of voters and will count the illegal ballots of noncitizens who vote. This is why we’re seeking an emergency order. We cannot allow California to dilute legal votes in the upcoming election.
Judge: You agree that if a non-citizen votes and we don’t stop it now, that vote will be counted, correct?
California: That’s absolutely correct.

Nobody on the far right has any actual power or influence in the Republican Party. Every time they run for office, they lose in a landslide.
James Fishback: Lost by 37 points.
Dan Bilzerian: Lost by 38 points.
Casey Putsch: Lost by 65 points.
Now let’s compare that to the far left.
El Sayed: Won Primary.
Angie Nixon: Won Primary.
Francesca Hong: Lost by less than a point.
Zohran Mamdani: Won Election.
Troy Jackson: Party selected.
It’s not even close. The far left is a way bigger and more serious threat than the far right.

Quite possible, and I already believe her family committed immigration fraud. I'm just working out every potential scenario that could lead to the book being written this way. Airtight arguments require first knowing every possible hole you may have.
(Otherwise you end up with egg on your face like Vivek's campaign last week)

Wow, thank you so much for sharing! This is a really big deal as a piece in the puzzle.

Dems win but have a narrower majority than people think. There just aren't enough seats that are realistically competitive when you consider the 2022 and 2024 results and the redistricting changes.

I would call it 1974.
The fundamentals just aren't there for that kind of a night, especially after Dems had to scramble in Maine for a new candidate and Peltola's Alaska campaign went sideways with scandals.
Replying to @GavuriruPilled
I used to think that, but a few things changed that:
-Whatley is just not running a proper campaign and Cooper is a decent candidate
-The Pappas scandals didn't really break, and Tafoya hasn't managed to close the 2-3pt gap, so we may win one of MN/NH but not both.
-Ossoff is an incumbent, and I haven't seen signs of Mike Collins closing the gap.

"Off by 6" LOL there is no universe in which Republicans end up with 47 seats.

The fact that Somali naming conventions are not standardized really makes this tricky.
Omar Isse Mire was the only survivor of the Gesira (aka Jazeera) Beach Massacre perpetrated by the Barre regime that Ilhan Omar's dad was a Colonel for.
It is unknown whether he still lives, but his last known appearance in public life was a 1/28/2012 press conference in Hargeisa.
Someone (maybe @FBI) should find him and see what else he knows. It may help us gain insight into the Congresswoman's family or the broader Somali diaspora mafia.
Allegedly he has also been referred to by the names Omar Muse Mire and Omar Mohamed.

How do you know of this email? Is the record available?
There are only 2 scenarios I see under which she is accurate about her age here:
1 - The first sentence is "in media res" so to speak, and the chapter heading applies to some flashbacks or out-of-order events described later in the chapter.
2 - The chapter heading is an error
Congresswoman Ilhan Omar writes in her memoir, “I was eight years old when civil war broke out in Somalia. One day everything was okay, and the next, there were bullets piercing not only buildings but also people.” While Somalia has suffered several civil wars, the chapter is entitled, “War: 1989-1991, Mogadishu, Somalia.” Mogadishu experienced severe riots in July 1989, including a mass execution that became known as the “Jazeera beach massacre.”
If, in her own words in her own autobiography, Omar was eight when this occurred in 1989, then she was born in 1981, and was 19 years old in the year 2000, when her father purportedly obtained his citizenship, not 1982 as she currently claims.

There is a 4th possibility:

Pretty sure those Isaaq were Muslim too. It was clan warfare vs pan-Somalism ideology.

Here's how I see the possibilities:

Either the first sentence is a mistake and should have been "I was eight years old when the civil war became part of daily life in Mogadishu" (around December 1990), or she was too old to be a minor when her dad obtained US citizenship.
If the former, the chapter heading of 1989-1991 must be explained, as it would be a mistake.
Was the "1989-1991" heading suggested by the editor rather than the author?
There are 3 options:
-The first sentence is wrong
-The chapter heading is wrong
-She was an adult when her dad obtained US citizenship
