My appeal against being banned from the #YourParty executive elections has been rejected. Thanks for everyone's support. There seems to be no further avenue. Whatever happened to the five independent members the Conference decided would oversee Your Party alongside the MPs? I have put my name forward for a West Midlands seat on the Executive of #YourParty. My immediate priority on the CEC will be to work to put trade unions at the heart of building our new party – and to campaign for the widest anti-austerity and anti-war challenge in the 2026 elections. Your Party conference decisively rejected a ban on dual membership. Jeremy and Zarah have consistently said Your Party will be different, fully controlled by its members. I therefore believe the members should be allowed to vote for whom they want on the CEC, with no bans on candidates decided in secret!
