So let me get this right, rather than dealing with the systemic racism in Reform, Nigel Farage says that those who have liked posts by Tommy Robinson won’t be banned from standing for office for his party. The same Tommy Robinson who was part of the BNP. Reform are a disgrace.

‘The political problem of mankind is to combine three things: economic efficiency, social justice and individual liberty.’ A brilliant biography of John Maynard Keynes by Zachary D Carter, who highlights how his economic agenda was also about an ambitious social project.

During the Covid pandemic, as a result of the “Everyone In” policy, approximately 15,000 homeless people were provided emergency accommodation. According to one study, the scheme saved an estimated 266 people from death. If we could do it during Covid we can do it now.

Perceptions of Andy Burnham's political identity have strengthened since entering Number 10. Prior to becoming PM only 37% thought it was clear what he stood for. However, since he's become Prime Minister this has jumped to 57%. 👉 tinyurl.com/89pmr7n6

The EHRC should investigate Reform UK given how widespread and systemic racism is in the party. Reform aren’t sorry, they’re only sorry they got exposed.

"When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time". Racism and bigotry in Reform is widespread and systemic. Farage has always tried to claim it's just a 'few bad apples', yet once again the mask slips. The stakes at the next election couldn't be higher.
Warning: Distressing and graphic language An undercover investigation by ITV Exposure into Nigel Farage’s Reform UK has found multiple elected councillors and party candidates expressing racist views and using offensive language. ITV has obtained secretly recorded footage showing Reform officials from across England and Wales using violent, racist and sexist language. Councillors Alan Feeney, Chris Whelan and Jamie Campbell did not reply to our request for comment. Councillors Feeney and Whelan have since resigned from Reform UK. In a statement shared with ITV News, Reform UK said: "Where members, activists and councillors have clearly behaved inappropriately, investigations have commenced. In some cases, there have been suspensions and due process must be followed." "Reform UK has improved and prioritised its vetting procedures, but from time to time, a handful of individuals who do not share our values will initially make it through vetting. This is the same for all organisations."

NEW POLLING: 'Reindustrialisation' is one of the Prime Minister’s favourite slogans. Some economists dismiss it as nostalgic and naive. But what do voters think? The verdict is clear: voters love the term, with net approval of +61 points, rising to +67 among Labour’s 2024 voters

The myth of 'no go zones' has been repeatedly debunked and discredited, yet despite this far-right falsehood being disproven, it has now found its way into mainstream Conservative circles, because the likes of Blake Stephenson, MP for Mid Bedfordshire, believe it pays to push...

contextualise his disgraceful and false remarks about Luton being a 'no go zone' where "white people won't go". To do so is to justify his bigotry and prejudice. Why are so many in Luton pained as a result of his disgraceful remarks? Because for towns like ours which bore...

the brunt of EDL and Britain First marches, where minorities feared for their safety and security, we know all too well how when those in positions of power and authority demonise communities, it has real life consequences

Well said by our brilliant PCC @JohnTizard: "The idea that white people can't go to parts of Luton, can only be propagated by those who want to divide society and want to promote racism rather than community cohesion'.
'You would only say that if you want to promote racism.' Local Police and Crime Commissioner @JohnTizard rubbishes the claim that there are 'no-go zones' in Luton, and urges Tory MP Blake Stephenson to back up his claim. @BenKentish

Words have consequences. Those of us who lived through the EDL and Britain First marches in Luton know all too well the effects of those in positions of power and authority demonising minority communities. They empower those who seek to sow discord and fan the flames of division.

There are no “no go areas” in Luton for any section of our community. I am deeply sad and angry that any politician would assert these falsehoods. Words have consequences. These words must be withdrawn. Luton is stronger for its diversity and excellent community cohesion.
As a born and bred Lutonian, this is utterly untrue from a Tory MP about Luton having no go zones. He should be utterly ashamed of parroting far-right narratives. Our town’s strength will always be in our diversity and communities coming together to support one another.
