Imagine sending your financial information to a platform for analysis.
Normally, for that platform to process your data, it needs access to the information in a readable form.
And that’s where privacy becomes a concern.
Your information may be protected while being stored or transferred, but what happens when it needs to be processed?
This is the problem Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) is designed to address.
FHE is a form of encryption that allows computations to be performed directly on encrypted data without first decrypting it.
Here’s a simple way to understand it:
Imagine you have encrypted financial figures that need to be added together.
With conventional encryption, the data would generally need to be decrypted before the calculation could happen.
With FHE, the calculation can happen while the figures remain encrypted.
The result is also encrypted and can only be read by someone with the appropriate decryption key.
This means sensitive information doesn’t have to be exposed just because it needs to be processed.
Why does this matter?
Think about financial institutions working with sensitive customer records, transaction information or other confidential data.
They need to analyse information and make decisions, but exposing the underlying data can create privacy risks.
FHE offers a way to perform those computations while keeping the data encrypted.
This is one of the technologies @primus_labs identifies as part of its approach to more private onchain finance.
Of course, FHE doesn’t remove every security challenge. Practical implementations still have performance and key-management considerations.
But the possibility it introduces is important:
Data can remain encrypted and still be useful.
That’s a capability worth paying attention to as Web3 and institutional finance continue to evolve.

Primus’s latest collaboration with @CournotProtocol gives us another interesting perspective on why privacy and verification matter in onchain finance.
One challenge with bringing more financial activity onchain is that institutions need to prove certain information is authentic without making every sensitive detail public.
Think about financial records, external data and information used to support important decisions.
Simply making information public isn’t always the answer. But asking people to trust information without a way to verify it isn’t ideal either.
This is where @primus_labs is building.
Through zkTLS, applications can verify the authenticity of off-chain web data while preserving user privacy.
Its latest collaboration with Cournot explores bringing verifiable web evidence to prediction markets.
The announcement also mentions exploring possibilities around private credit and onchain finance.
I find these directions interesting because they highlight a bigger need in institutional finance: information that can be trusted and verified, without unnecessary exposure of sensitive data.
Privacy and verification shouldn’t have to work against each other.
That’s one of the things I’m watching Primus for.

I started using @AntSeed for my AI work this week and already have 124 ANTS pending from normal usage.

The most important thing Web3 has taught me wasn’t written in a whitepaper. I experienced it.
I came into this space in 2021 with curiosity and a desire to understand what was happening beyond traditional finance.
At the time, I was mostly focused on learning about the technology, discovering projects and exploring opportunities.
Over time, however, my experience became much bigger than that.
I found communities that helped me learn, people who shared knowledge, projects that gave me room to contribute, and opportunities that allowed me to grow. Eventually, I started doing the same for others, helping people discover opportunities, connecting communities and contributing to ecosystem growth.
That changed my understanding of what decentralisation and open participation could mean in practice.
Technology can create access, but people determine what they make of that access. An ecosystem becomes more meaningful when its participants are not just users, but contributors who help others move forward.
So, if I had the opportunity to write one sentence on Page 10, it would be:
“The real measure of an open ecosystem is not how many people enter it, but how many are empowered to learn, contribute and create opportunities for others.”
That’s the lesson I would preserve.
Bitcoin’s whitepaper introduced an idea that challenged how the world thinks about transferring value. The years that followed have been shaped by millions of people who chose to explore that idea, question it, improve on it and build around it.
I believe the next chapter should be even more inclusive, one where participation creates genuine opportunities, knowledge is shared more freely, and progress isn’t limited to those who arrived first.
That’s my contribution to Page 10.
