The Bat Survey Guidelines have been updated. The methods are not prescriptive, consultants still need to justify which methods are best suited. Night vision has been incorporated, we have launched a consultation on this aspect bats.org.uk/news/2023/09/bct… #NatBatConf

Queenie the #bat would like to say something.
"Why, for the love of Benedict Cumberbatch, can people not keep their cats in at night?"
She was caught by a cat & has a very sore wing. I'll look after her 'til she's better, but please listen to her. Translation by the Batnurse 😊
