A few months ago, I mentioned that I was moving off of Twitter for many reasons. Today it will be official. My "link in bio" will be updated to invite you to the PALKIA Academy.

Future PASRS updates (including 6.2 to be released today) will be broadcast from an announcement channel in my server - I've posted instructions there for how to get that in your own server, since I'm sure many of you are not interested in joining a WHOLE server just for updates

Obviously the most important Smogon vs VGC question is: Would Smogon players like PASRS to be adapted for their formats? 👀

This is going to sound Ultra Curmudgeony, but I don't care. I want the option to report users from the Wonder Picks menu. My young children like to scroll WPs with me and the number of users with a thinly veiled slur as their username is way too high.

People sometimes ask if PASRS needs an update when the reg changes. In general, no. For regulation I, also no. Potential issues only arise when new Pokémon are introduced. This was very common in early SV but shouldn't really happen again until we get a new game!

As the next version of PASRS is being worked, I'm in the process of moving away from Twitter. I still want to bring PASRS to as many people as I can, but this platform is not where I want to be.

I got rid of Twitter on my phone for the US Election Season and it was one of the best decisions. I didn't miss it at all. Twitter has also just been getting WORSE that whole time.

I want to poll and explore other venues like blog posts, mailing lists, my Discord will still get updates obviously. If anyone has any recommendations on this front, please let me know. More updates/probably a poll coming! Thanks everyone!

The Nintendo Switch 2 is still cheaper than the PlayStation and XBox releases that took place FIVE YEARS AGO.

My son's chicken escaped in Minecraft and it's like listening to my Dad watch football when his team is not making the right calls.

My toxic trait is that I plan to release PASRS and then ghost the Internet. PASRS 6.0 is in its final testing. Release will be on 2/21 barring any scary issues that get found! 6.0 won't LOOK super different, but it will get you way better data. Stay tuned for how!
