Thank you to our Veterans!
On this #VeteransDay, I encourage all Floridians to take time to honor those who have bravely served in our country’s armed forces, including the over 1.5 million veterans that call Florida home.
We would not be the land of the free without their service and sacrifice.
Thank you for your service, ma'am. You are appreciated.
After 25 years dedicated to public service, Sgt. Susan Bridges-Preyer answers one last radio call before retirement. Thank you for making the @CityofTampa a better, safer community. Congratulations & enjoy your retirement!

Own a gun? Don’t use your car as a gun safe.
This past week, #StPetePD investigated 8 guns stolen from cars. Many of those cars were left unlocked.
Never store your gun in an unlocked vehicle. Stop putting guns in the hands of criminals!

Eighteen years ago today, the United States was shaken by
the deadliest terror attack in history. Let us never forget the
lives lost that day, nor the sacrifices of the first responders who selflessly
risked their own lives to help others out of that nightmare. #NeverForget
