What you do before Selection Sunday determines whether you deserve to be in the bracket or not.
What happens after is not some sort of referendum on that decision.
I don't know why people overreact to postseason blowouts every single year like this.

None of you asked, but here is what I think anyway. This may be lengthy.
First of all- no fans should personally attack any players. Wishing injury or harm on them is inappropriate and I condemn that.
That being said, let's get in touch with REALITY- Fans of any sports team WILL say mean things to and about players. That is how it has always worked, and now that the program collectively has 3x of the fans money in it, there is no reasonable expectation that this will stop. Simply unhinged idealism. This is not be endorsing being mean. Read first paragraph again.
Ok, now for the team- the offensive scheme is bad. The 5 out is bad. The effort is low for 70% of the game. Tang needs to make changes to the coaching staff if this continues.
Their response to the fans- You cannot now get paid like it is your career, and then complain about criticism. You make more money than most of us. Mean things will get said about you because you are in entertainment. The really skill to learn here is to TUNE OUT THE NOISE. To grow within the pressure and become better. Why would you give someone saying something stupid about breaking your leg ANY CREDIT? You make money playing basketball. When you lose, it is squarely the fault of the coaching staff AND the players. It is not the fans fault.
I have great admiration for what you do, but do not create for yourself a hole where you let the haters have actual space in your brain. This is an unchangeable aspect of your field.
-Dug needs to use picks correctly.
-Coleman when shooting needs to go for a rebound and not instantly throw his hands up looking for the nearest ref
-Jerome needs to hire an offensive specialist for this staff
-Everyone needs to shoot 2x the free throws in practice
-Gene needs to demand that the bball program is more accountable, and less focused on outside noise
-The fans SHOULD be nice when possible, and never wish harm on anyone. But it SHOULDNT MATTER.
Jerome is a wonderful man with great values, one I'd love to be friends with, and so are many of the players. You all need to stop mentioning fan engagement. This is your job, not the fans. Act like it!
I still believe in you. Pressure creates diamonds. Get in the gym. Get off the internet. Get to work.
