Hurricane match play >>>
Excellent one today - Broomsedge
Well, we did it. We got the Golf Twitter meetup out of the group chat! And what an epic place to do it. Minus the hurricane rains, we had an epic Twitter 20 man Ryder Cup event that ended with Team Appel beating Team @GolfnNBAnJokes. This also helps me prove my point that meeting up with internet strangers isn’t weird to my wife 😭.
All jokes aside this place rocked. Lovely mixture of par 3s with multiple green complex options, solid par 4s, and risk reward par 5s make this the perfect environment for a 2 day Ryder Cup.
In terms of new SC golf courses, it’s one of the best, and I have it behind Old Barnwell and ahead of The Tree Farm.
They do offer some public play tee times so I highly recommend getting down here this winter!
Always fun to get a question answered
Yolk with Doak is back!
@AndyTFE sits down with Tom Doak on The Fried Egg Golf Podcast to discuss the making of a golf architect, new projects, and an exciting announcement about a new scholarship for young architects.
Fun to see new golf in Vermont - Stowe was already great, even better now
not too many things in Vermont more tasty than their Maple Syrup...except perhaps having the opportunity this week to Photograph the renovation work by @beauwellingdesign at Stowe CC, especially on a morning such as this one where early low level fog enveloped the golf course.
