#UPDATE: NTSB says there are indications the Learjet 60 was BREAKING UP before impact in Sunday's deadly crash in Palm Beach County, Florida, which killed all nine people aboard. During Monday's press briefing, NTSB investigators provided additional details about the crash scene and the ongoing investigation. Investigators said one person on the ground was injured, suffering a leg injury. When asked about the size of the debris field, the NTSB said the debris consists of relatively small pieces scattered across a wide area, including businesses, residential properties and ball fields. The debris field could extend approximately half a mile. NTSB investigator Tom Chapman said there are indications the aircraft began breaking apart before striking the ground, and investigators expect to find aircraft parts some distance away from the main impact site. All nine people aboard, including two crew members and seven passengers, were killed. Approximately 77 mobile homes near the crash site have been evacuated, with hundreds of residents displaced while investigators continue examining the wreckage.
