Again, this is not actually a response to the accusation that the UAE is arming the RSF, but a swerve that refuses even to name or accept the UAE as a hypothetical target of investigation. In that regard Nusseibeh is acting simply as a UAE representative, not a neutral party.
Sudan would be a priority for me as Secretary-General. The fighting must stop. Civilians and humanitarian workers must be protected. RSF atrocities require accountability. Sudanese people’s democratic aspirations must guide a political process.

“I live in a small town in the West Bank… 85 percent of the [population] is American citizens… We’re facing settler violence on a daily basis… They commit ethnic cleansing tactics of Palestinians by pushing Palestinians out of their lands and of course, many of these Palestinians are Americans, like myself. I myself have lost access to more than 5,000 acres that I own.”
Palestinian American lawyer Yaser Alkam details the daily violence inflicted upon his community in the West Bank by Israeli settlers—noting that most of the population in his small village suffering from these attacks are American citizens.

This morning, the Israeli state revoked my travel authorization. They've banned me from visiting the illegally occupied West Bank.
It’s clear that Israel does not want someone with a track record of fighting for Palestinian liberation to be in the West Bank exposing the horrific crimes being carried out every day by violent Israeli settlers with the full support of the Israeli military.
